Posted August 27, 201213 yr I bought an autotek mm 2500.1 quite awhile ago, and have been running it at 2 ohms, and it's been great.Onlinecarstereo.com claims it's stable at 1 ohm, putting out 2500 rms. It's a $150 amp... I'm hella skeptical, because of that, so I came here to see if anyone has an experience with the Mean Machine's running down to that load.
August 27, 201213 yr Author Wasn't aware it'll protect before hand. Well, sweet deal. Doubtful it'll put anywhere near the 2500 claimed though, haha.
August 27, 201213 yr i have seen claims of people getting around 400 watts or so after rise at 2 ohms,

Well sir i have an audiopipe ap1500.1d and i bout it for 150 grantid its 1000w lower rms than yours. but it is 1 ohm stable it ran 2 ssa xcons at an unbelievable pace. But as for if it will be 1 ohm stable it doesnt hurt to try it and if it is then you found your answer just dont go crazy to see if it is because you may blow or overheat the amp like i said it doesnt hurt to try. just don't go over board. if it helps any haha.

August 27, 201213 yr Author So you have a quite expensive woofer, but cheaping out on a amp.....It's a pawnshop Mtx 9512.I didn't have a job until last year, and had to buy cheap stuff, haha.I'm 19, and have a paid apprenticeship installing in a shop, I'd think I'm doing alright.

So yep OP, could surely be 400.
