Posted August 29, 201213 yr Saw it on a few different threads over the interwebs. Alan Hall did a 160.2 at a 3x usaci meet. He's running two 15" Tantric HDD's and two RD D9 amplifiers. Damn Great score.
August 29, 201213 yr A talked to Alan over the phone last night and Tantric Sounds is hitting the scene hard. I expect to see alot more installs with this brand once the company gets into full production.

But that shouldn't take away from what he accomplished by keeping ALL equipment in the trunk, and hitting the 160 mark.
August 29, 201213 yr its still amazing. I agree its not my thing, I scoff at anyone who tunes higher than 33Hz lol, but the fact that nobody has done that until now with lots of people trying trunk installs, logically it must be impressive even if you know nothing about SPL builds

August 29, 201213 yr Does it even pucking matter? First trunk in the world to do a legit 160! That's plain and simple amazing! The man did it with two 15" subs on two D9s. Those are daily subs too. Not made to be one note wonders. How man people in here are doing less than 160 with more than double the cone area, double the power ect. Burps aren't mine thing either. But this was an incredible feat!
