Hey guys i am new to ssa and am interested in learning about the xcon 10. Thinking about putting on in my Trailblazer? Any thoughts?

Well I think that it is an awesome driver. Any more specific questions? :WELCOME: to SSA!

Well i want to run it off my Cadence A7 HC at 1 ohm in a ported box i am thinking that should be more than loud enough. What driver dual 2 ohm right? Also box reccomendations?

Correct get a dual 2 to get a one ohm load. Depending on how much room you would be willing to sacrifice, I'd grab the 12 over the 10. Nice amp by the way.

Thank you i kind of need as much room as i can save. What more would i be getting out of the 12?

A bit more cone area for about the same price. You will need .5-1 cubic foot more box volume for the 12. They will both sound great just pick whichever one fits your space requirements.

Welcome!!!!

welcome sir!!!

10" is enough.... but 12" is more fun for some people.... Either way, like has been said, go with what fits...

What are the max dimensions you want to stick to???

Welcome to SSA. Glad you found us and are interested in the Xcon. If you have space for the 12" Xcon sealed, and you are set on the Xcon, that would be my vote.
