Posted September 25, 201212 yr Wanting to add to my existing alarm, thinking about adding perhaps two exterior sirens, current one is hurting. Also like the idea of having one or two piezo sirens inside the cabin. I have seen these refered to as pain generators. Any of you have input on particular brands which might stand above others in performance? I also wanted to know if adding the additional sirens and alarms will require any additional wiring aspects, I guess I mean can I just wire multiple sirens or will I need additional installation knowledge or products? Thanks for your help and input.Chop
September 25, 201212 yr i got 3 piezo sirens inside and they aren't all that loud.Just use external siren(s) inside.
September 25, 201212 yr I would make sure your alarm is .5 ohm stable lolIt's just a 12v. Worst case you can use a relay and use your alarm output to trigger it. 2 external and 1 internal would definitely get your attention. Buddy has an airraid siren on his using a relay and a compressor. You might look into the Omega 77. It's pretty loud and annoying. Plus its small and around $20.
September 26, 201212 yr Not trying to thread jack, I was looking into adding horns to my alarm and add voice. I came upon this funny video. Here's the module so you can add voice.http://www.sonicelec...ected-516L.html Edited September 26, 201212 yr by reelfish92
