You'd be suprised how unamerican american products are.

No.1 cone and spider source in U.S. Loud Speaker Components bought Nuway in Mexico about 2 years ago uses them for nearly all their spiders and some cones now.

no.1 coil manufacturer Pecision Econowind winds all of it's OEM automotive coils in China mostly the only thing wound in Florida is high temp coils but all the materials are Chinese.

Magnets, you ain't gonna a find a source here in the U.S. and if so it's gonna be too expensive.

I agree, BUT more of my money is staying here.

The US sub is always going to take twice as much to manufacture. So technically the same amount of YOUR money is staying here in the US. It's just the guy that outsourced his parts form china is keeping the extra costs HE saved in his pocket

Yep, it's an A404 I bought for $550 back in 1995 or 96. I thought about running it, but I don't have the plugs, and it has no cross-overs.
