Posted March 25, 200619 yr Well I finally got to install my Stereo Integrity Mag 15. And I know everyone on here knows I use them and used the 12 alot and love it but man, I love the 15 even more!!!It is still a very accurate sub and has lots of output, lots of output. I barely have it turned up maybe 1/4 gain on the amp and 1/4 gain on the Coustic XM6 and no bass enhance or my EQ lowest setting is 63hz at +1db. Its quite amazing and fun to play with but the best thing about this, is this is probably the easiest sub I've used to blend into the rest of the soundstage! I wouldn't never have thought a 15 was easy to blend but this is. Its much easier to blend than the 12 i used. The 12 is awesome but it was hard to find that point where my output expectations and SQ matched what sounded good. This 15 is easy to blend and I love it. I'll give more details later but this sub is scary around the 32-40hz range.
March 25, 200619 yr Author yeah its dark right now so I can't take any but i'll take some tomorrow or Monday. I need to finish off the sides of the trunk and the front baffle but atleast now I have some music!

March 27, 200619 yr Author well i knew it was going to be good after i sadly returned the prototype 12 to him and then went back to the Mag Gen 2. BUt more and more I listen to it I love it. I don't have to push it to get lots of output and since I don't have to push it it blends in very well into the 80-100hz range. As for scary in the 30-40hz range, well I have one layer of edead on the floor and trunk lid and sidewalls but it almost seems like its not there as my entire underside of the car rattles and the exhaust is really taking shaking. I used a test tone CD and had it go down that low and I haven't even yet begin to push the Mag and its makes me eyes water and the car rattle like I had when I pushed the prototype 12 close to 75%. Its been about 2 days now and I've kept the gain around 15-20% so maybe i'll try it a little higher tomrrow, maybe 30-45%.
March 27, 200619 yr Any SI woofer you have cannot disappoint.. Nick keeps the sound the same I agree with the first sentence. . . The New MAGS, however, are leaps and bounds better than the originals. Trust me.
