Posted November 13, 201212 yr Need to build a new box for my suv. Im running two RF t212d4 on two rf t1500bdcp. I want to go subs up port back now that im not in a trunk car. Does anyone have experience with what box size/tuning/port area these subs excel in? Right now they are in 2 cube box tuned to 35 and do ok, but im sure they have way more in them. I will post the t/s if anyone would be kind enough to see what any programs might spit out as best box size. Vehicle is 04 dodge durango. November 14, 201212 yr Better define your goals. What is it you don't like about their performance in your current enclosure? What are you looking for performance wise? What is your musical selection?
November 14, 201212 yr Author Im not disappointed in my current box persay. Im building new box mainly because im in an suv now(coming from trunk car) and want to orientate my box differently. As far as asking about bigger chamber size, I mostly just feel I could get more from the subs than I currently am. If not thats perfectly acceptable. Performance wise, as with any generic basshead, I want to be loud as possible with my equipment and sound good while doing it. Music is everything from J.J. Grey to Bassnecter and everything in between. Admitedly I lean more towards the bass heavy music when I have a system installed such as now.
