Als went and humored myself by looking at some homes today. SomeI liked but had concerns about the foundation as some floors seemed uneven, and ceilings has cracks. Others just looked like they were never touched since the 50's. still one or two were amazing, except kne oddity. The unfinished garage. NO celing cover in some of them at all. Just open beams. And the damn thing is attached!!!

Especially since you watch so much TV.

Exactly why I'll never get around to it. Could use the poor man's version and just re-unplug my mains. For watching a cooking show they sure the fuck don't help.
Are you catching up on the Martha Stewart cooking shows? biggrin.png
Prison panty cooking is my favorite.

J, without living in an area for a while you won't know the exact area to buy.

Rent isn't a loss always either. You can save much much more by living simple.

Florida is a goofy state. I enjoyed my visits, but it would be really hard to live there without a reason holding me there. I love the ocean too... But the place is a hole, unless you know what you are doing. The same can be said about anywhere, Fla just has tons of problems in general above and beyond it's other problems.

Damnit. I am bummed out. I'm gonna slam a 6er before I walk into work.

Stupid emotional attachment to animals. Fucking sucks making a decision for a pet like that.

At least I didn't crack the double oak yet. I wouldn't be at work had I started the hard stuff.

Other cat keeps trying to get us to open a door so he can go look for the missing one. Just keeps meowing and then looking out the window. Which is normal for the most part but he is at the window the fat one sits now, so he has some concept of the missing cat. Jack is a little less worried, but he heard us say the dead cats name and then he starts sniffing and looking for him.

Thankfully Jack is easily distracted by saying "treat" and then playing.

SSorry mang.

Animals are helpless, even though logically I know he needed to go because quality of life was shit, it's still hard.

People can tell you what sucks and can make decisions usually. Even with dementia they can be kind of happy.

Oh well. Pets aren't kids but they feel like it sometimes

:-)

Fix'd.

Raising children is little different than raising a dog, at least until the child is old enough for public schooling. ^_^

That is kind of true.

I just realize that with a kid, it's an extension of your own life and more than a best buddy or companion.

And it is expected for then to die before us. Parents should never deal with molding their kid. It is UN natural.

It's pretty interesting; they've done studies with dogs testing their problem solving skills, cognition, and the like. The most intelligent dogs of the groups are as smart as kindergarten level children, and the average intelligence of the groups were that of toddlers.

i lived in central fla,  lake wales lakeland winter haven, also in tampa,

I'm across the bay from Tampa in St Petersburg. Within 15 mins of the gulf of Mexico. I dig the weather and so far the people are pretty relaxed. Just doing the work hunting thing.

Could always snag them each some of. Their favorite treats. Might help them relax.
