Wow, my foot is seriously overreacting to the yellowjacket sting. Hell, it was a juvenile ffs...

Sucks about the EXP, did they give you a reason why it was so low?

No, and they cannot show me a comparable. One of the comparables was from August 11.....before I was even in the accident and they can't even show me the add they saw it in.

Fuckers.

That is BS, they need to be able to replace it.

No they don't. You will get the lowest local comparable price less your deductible if it is a no fault or your fault situation. In a parking lot it is no fault, period. This is a vehicle I am certain has no lean on it and it is over 2 years old so you do not get replacement value.

Been there, done that.

Total loss is considered 66% of NADA or KBB, whichever is lowest, unless you have an appraised value policy. You can generally buy back a total loss for "scrap value", which is laughable plus deductible. My wife totaled my pickup ~5 years ago (1994 Nissan) and my buyback was over $1100. Ridiculous, as typical scrap value would have been ~$250 and my deductible is $50. Yes, I over insure everything.

I was able to repair my truck for ~$150 in parts, a come along, a tree, a hammer and a prybar, some solder and my soldering iron.

Fuck body shops.

lol

i went to a guys house to try and collect some money he owed me..

i knocked on his door  being all hard with  a tough ass mind set to collect my money with no bullshit...

so i beat his door hard... as he opens the door.. a yellow jacket stung me in the fucking NECK...

then i got even more pissed off because if he would have just paid me i would not never got stung.. .so anyway..

for the next 4 day the left hand side of my body was kinda paralyzed  it was crazy... i was driving a dump truck at the time.. .and i never miss work..

so it was crazy hard to get in the trunk.. then i had to lift my leg.. place it on the clutch.. and when ever i had to use the clutch i would have to push my leg down with my arms.. it was scary ....

lucky anyone that know how to drive a rig knows you only use the clutch when you stop and take off..

that shit done mess around....  some old times told me i could have died..  they said the nerotoxins went to my brain !

Has anybody added an aux jack to a factory headunit? I am thinking of doing this to the beetle. Also thinking of adding some rca outs f I get into doing the aux jack.

If it's a Beta or Gamma unit I think there is a way. I know for sure I found the RCA front and rear outputs on the rear plane and built a plug.

Is this something marked on the unti? I have not pulled it out yet.

Here is the adapter smile.png

Seems like the CD changer to Head unit transport is via analog signal. So there is analog in on the rear panel connection. They might be marked on the unit, other that that, not much else I can do to help :(

I miss paying PS3 lately.

In MN usually everything is no fault. And usually in a parking lot it is too. I was not in motion however, and the other guy reversed from a spot. He would have ultimately faced the wrong way on a marked wrong way. His insurance had full liability. I was suprised too.

They gave me a super low comparable and I battled and got about 30% more. Small claims Here is 10k limit and that would cost about the same as their lawyer fees I bet.

I'm pretty sure I could scrap/part out my vehicle for more than $550. Especially rims and tires and engine.

Yes, you could.    Hell, if you were closer, I'd buy the wheels and tires.
