September 17, 201311 yr The poor residents of Northampton, England are living in a nightmarescenario straight out of a Steven King novel right now. Someone dressedas a clown keeps popping up around town and spooking grown adults andsmall children alike. The clown isn't doing anything violent, mind you, so it's exactly like aSteven King novel. But it's close! Because clowns are terrifying, andthey scare people. The Northampton Herald & Post reports clowns have been popping up in random places all across town lately, so much so that a hashtag and a Facebook group were created to track the sightings. The Northampton Chronicle reportspolice believe multiple people are behind the clown sightings. Awarning was issued so residents wouldn't be so startled the next time a clown is standing in the middle of the side walk.http://www.theatlanticwire.com/global/2013/09/theres-clown-terrorizing-small-british-town/69425/This is hilarious. Clowns are no laughing matter. Seriously. NSFW People freak out at the haunt when the clowns come out. I saw some article the other day talking about haunts where the actors will bind and gag the guests, drool on them, jam their fingers in the guests' mouths, and other creepy shit. Some even have the actors acting out scenes of graphically violent rape. Yes those Haunts are out there, but I promise you we do not do that at Spookhaven.
September 17, 201311 yr Ryan or anybody else who may know: I'm looking at a 2007 Ford F-350 super crew dually with the diesel and 5spd auto and was wonder what problems you know that can pop up or if I should steer clear or the truck all together?
September 17, 201311 yr the 6.0 Power Strokes have big time issues with the EGR cooler I've heard that going with an aftermarket egr will save the engine
September 17, 201311 yr Yes, aftermarket EGR saves the day. Biggest problem is when it fails and you don't notice it's going to take out the engine by overheating.
September 17, 201311 yr the 6.0 Power Strokes have big time issues with the EGR coolerYup. And if you have the issue it's bad. If you don't, it's great. Many people just do an EGR delete or aftermarket the whole thing.
September 17, 201311 yr Are there any other issues you guys know of?Everyone will bug you about the EGR and then when you tell them it's been dealt with and tuned it will pull down apartment complexs.Great trucks. Strong engine. Really horrible EGR problem. Databoutit.

If it does not have ARP head studs, egr delete and a somewhat new oil cooler then it will. Its not if it will need done its just when. To do it right thats about a 5k job. So if its never been done just keep that in mind. But other than that the 6.0 is a strong motor and they run awesome.
September 17, 201311 yr The problems that we had with our PowerStroke Diesels (Comcast) is the fuel tanks deteriorating and getting trash into the injectors ... Several had to have the tanks and injectors replaced ... Another thing was very cold starts ... but they had that plug in the grille that allowed you to plug into an A/c outlet to keep the glowplugs warm ...
September 17, 201311 yr Argh, Miata, I need to get two friends from Germany to call the guy and lowball him. Then I'll swoop in and close the deal. I am in Ze Duetchsland atm Dunno if the guy speaks English...Three low-balls would probably be too much If he's German he speaks English. I am "on base" here. Okay nowhere fucking near, but hey Sean, I owe you a big one if you can find 2-3 minutes to give him a ring and lowball him This is the ad: http://suchen.mobile.de/auto-inserat/mazda-mx-5-16v-mit-hardtop-hildesheim/182740653.html

I have been thinking about an older 250, 350, or excursion myself......
September 17, 201311 yr I didn't know about the oil cooler either, but any all hard duty trucks could benefit from that.

September 17, 201311 yr Toyota has had number of chiefs over its 76-year history, but none ever served as long as Eiji Toyoda. The younger cousin of the company's founder served as president of the automaker from 1967 to 1982 and as chairman of the Toyota Motor Corporation for another ten years following the unification of the manufacturing and sales divisions. During his 25 years at the helm, Eiji Toyoda was credited with establishing the company's headquarters in Toyota City, spearheading the development of the Prius, expanding production overseas for the first time, launching the Lexus brand and turning Toyota from a minor player into one of the largest automakers in the world. Even after his retirement in 1992, he remained an honorary chairman and close advisor to his successors, and chaired the company's museum. He died of heart failure, ending a 100-year life that started on September 12, 1913, before the company that bore his family's name (albeit slightly modified) had even started building automatic looms, let alone automobiles.
