That's okay, I'll put some 6.5's in the door, some in the center console, some in the rear doors and will be golden.

Not the best idea. Focus on your front stage. ;)

I know.

ROFL.

Hey don't laugh, give me advice to ignore. Seriously. I am looking for what to do, but will do what I am going to anyways.

I know that you know that I know that you know, so I am going to not listen to what you know.

Sounds like a good plan.

Sucks that the escalade can't fit decent size drivers in the doors. My old patriot could fit 9" drivers in the door with no modification. But the escalade is a big upgrade in all other regards. I can't wait to see what you do with it.

Doors or kicks, they will fit. It might take more than a simple job of slapping them in, but they will fit.

Might have to do a slap for the time being. Just went for a drive. The stereo is awful. sad.png Blose in fact. Makes me want to go search to find out where the electronic bullshit is happening so I can figure out how to resolve it as quickly and cost effectively without distracting my other projects. tongue.png

So I'm finally switching from Verizon to Net10 (ATT Prepaid basically) going to end up paying $35/ Mon for unlimited talk and text and 500mb of data. $45/ Mon for 2.5gb.

Take into account I bought a phone for $250 more than the contract price. And I am looking at an equivalent of $45 or $55 per month over 2 years.

Major gripes so far.

Too slow

Too fucking high

M6 seats would be better

Stereo sucks

Plastic dash needs leather

Cheesy fake aluminum needs to be unfaked

Noisy. Was windy, but either the door seals or window seals need adjustment BAD. Better than the Chevy, but lord.

Tranny running hot and shifts stupidly

Doors close like a pickup

Some rattles on the plasticky interior bullshi

Unexpected Pros

Snow traction with all seasons on 22's is WAY better than I expected

Interface on the touchscreen. Even if I replace it, I've learned a few tricks. It does work with gloves and considering I don't have a heated steering wheel that is nice.

Power is better than expected, although it rolls on more than I thought it would. I am interested in driving/riding in a Maggie truck before going another route.

Layout and controls in general make pretty good sense

Storage

Just noticed the bastards adding a second dealer sticker on the window. LOL, like that is going to stay. Almost debadged it tonight, but it doesn't fit in the garage atm since the sleds are hogging it's stall.

Couldn't be any worse than the Dodge Charger rental I'm driving. I'm 6' and my head is almost hitting the roof. More blind spots than anything I've ever driven.

Fucking automatic too.
