April 5, 201411 yr Got the offer. But damn it comes with some down sides. Two weeks of training, and training time only pays 8 an hr. After that its up to 12 an hr with ample room to advance. First step up only jumps up 1 dollar an hr, after that it is salary.Plus side, it is solid employment after 90 days, they work with some big companies, and offers full benefits.JWhat about the other position? No matter what I'd counter....
April 5, 201411 yr So, Sean and Ryan, how much do you guys want for the mids? That's all on Sean. I don't want/need money for anything.Me neither. Ryan gets ze gift.If both of you are bowing out, and Adrian feels obligated to pay someone....I have no problem accepting funds
April 5, 201411 yr Sitting at Chevy, getting the cobalt looked at.Guess we get a free rental, and perhaps keep the rental until they get the parts and replace it.
April 5, 201411 yr So they gave me a Chevy Cruz, and it's somehow smaller than the cobalt inside. Also has a chipped windshield that we missed on the workaround.
April 5, 201411 yr Admin No way on earth, I could ethically buy a Chevy. To think I was considering used vette's.

April 6, 201411 yr I'm looking into a miter saw and hoping to snag one on Craigslist. Any tips or overlooked gems?
April 6, 201411 yr I'm looking into a miter saw and hoping to snag one on Craigslist. Any tips or overlooked gems? Depends on your goals. I would try to find a sliding compound miter. Ridgid makes a fantastic 12" SCM. IMO the rails and action are 10X nicer than the DeWalt Professional series. I would be sure to buy a solid blade. I use only Forrest blades now, but there are many other good manufacturers out there.
