They would have been going back over the security cameras

Over a year since I got my black Allen Edmonds. My cordovan wingtips are just about a month younger. Maybe less.

Then a third pair purchased in the fall/winter I think.

3 pair on a consistent rotation for a year. Usually just for work, but they have some nights out and other events through the year.

Pretty amazed they have made it this long without needing a resole, or needing a deep polish. The wingtips have some scuffs and wear that need to be looked at sooner or later, but in general this things are great.

If I get another 6 months before they need a refurbishing, they will exceed the initial investment. If the refurbishing lasts 2 years, they will have paid for themselves.

Made chicken parmesan for the first time. It was really good.

Grabbed thighs instead of breasts. First time I have ever wished I was eating chicken breast and not thigh.

Also really new to frying in general. Keeping the heat perfect is an art. When I made fried chicken it worked better.....

Also over salted the pasta water somehow. That never happens. It wasn't gross salty, but just a a surprise.

I will definitely explore this again.

I also need to invest in a mallet. Can of beans is ok.... Be not ideal. Had to use the needler first to loosen it up.

I think it's time for new pants for reffing.

If using a pan to fry a heavy bottomed one preferably cast iron.

I think I baked the chicken the last time I did the parmesan. I have been on a lemon chicken kick for a while now, which is definitely best fried.

You'll want to keep the grease right at 300. After pounding use a towel and press the water out of the chicken. If it's wet the water will evaporate and push the batter off the meat. Stick it in your egg wash and put in the fridge for a bit uncovered to let it dry up a bit. You don't want the wash real runny. Batter, fry without messing with it much besides flipping. If you keep the oil at 300 while cooking it'll be done when it's golden brown. Set it on a wire rack for 5 minutes before cutting or platting. It'll allow the grease to leave the batter and prevent the batter from falling off.

I pay $40 - $50 at Kohls or Penney's for my dress shoes and wear them for 5 years.

Yup!

The all cladbdid well, but not ideal. Wife grabbed that pan and already had the oil going.

This recipe was to fry the cutlets first, then bake with the mozzarella and sauce.

Jealous.

My feet are 13 tripple E. I also went through 4 pair of cheeper dress shoes in 6 months.

The full leather sole is more comfortable to me, and my feet are slowly getting healthier.

I do put a superfeet arch support in mine as my arches have fallen and need the help. Most of the time I sit, but some sale days I may be on my feet for a real 8 hours.

Lady at work has plugged the toilet twice and left it so I've had to plunge it when I go in to urinate. Give me a damn break, you are a grown adult and you know what a flushing toilet sounds like. If you've clearly plugged it, plunge your own shit...literally

Murder!

Is it a thing where companies will send you your bill late to get you to pay late fees?

Every other Bill I get is with a late fee, but I never get the invoice telling me when I have to pay.

This even happened with my AmEx.

It's to push you to online billing.

Call and bitch, this is a shitty gimmick.

One if the bills we get at work is like that. Can't remember but I think it's for the trash. It'll even show on the bill that the due date is like 6/15 and the date of the bill is 6/25 and we'll receive it on 7/3. Why in the hell are you sending a bill 10 days after it's due?
