Anybody have opinions on those smart boxes I linked before i order?

New springfield xd mod 2 45 is now safely at home.

Awesome can you post a pic?

My XD is not legal in California, it holds more than one bullet. ;P

Sucks that anything over a 10 round clip is illegal :(

Anybody have any experience with smart TV boxes? If so any recommendations?

Thanks,

Michael

What are you looking for. We have a Roku and an XBox 360. They both have there pros and cons.

The newest Roku 2 is hard to beat IMO.

Apps like netflix and such, but would also like to stream live cable programs as well..local news,History channel,Discovery channel..ect

Aside from streaming HBO, and some apps that allow you to stream from your cable co (you must pay for service) you won't get live TV. I have Roku stick, Roku 3, and Chromecast. I like the Roku 3 best of the group. The stick offers many of the same functions as the 3, but the stick is rather large and a PITA to plug in with that retarded power adapter. I like the fact that my digital copies feed to my boxes as well. Catastrophe Girl has a web page with every channel available for Roku as well. It is open source, which rocks.

I don't know your linked gear at all.

I never heard of it myself..I know nothing about the smart boxes or sticks never tried them..Only ones i have heard of is the few you listed..I have digital cable but I really dont want to add another box and run cable..Plus my LED is not a smart TV..I thought of just buying a Blue ray player with WI-FI.

I was popping a fuel line off a RX400h today and pressurized fuel shot out towards my eyes. I have really good reflexes so I turned away before it got into my eyes and it went straight into my ear canal. At first I was like WTF? Then it started to burn. I started to walk towards the tech I work next to and asked him for a cup or bottle of water then it hit me. I yelled out in pain a string of curse words that would have made a sailor blush. I rolled around on the floor cursing at my co worker for not getting my water.

After an hour of flushing and fading in and out of reality because of the pain things settled down.

Holy fuck that hurts!

I am having a hard time hearing, and have to take ibuprofin to stop it from ringing.

Fucking ridiculous.

I researched them a couple years ago and grabbed the Roku based on my research. Sadly it was not what I had hoped it would be. I still pay for TV service (but I am with DirecTV). However, I really do like what it offers. I buy all my movies on BluRay with digitsal copy so I can watch it on Hulu or Vudu anywhere in the house or on the go. Netflix is super easy to access as well. Plus there really are a shit ton of channels out there to suit your needs.

I still think Roku is the shiznit...

Went to talk to my old boss man tonight. I have the utmost respect for him as a person and as a businessman. Trying to get more pointers on opening my shop. I am getting frustrated at the lack of good locations available in my area. I really can't afford the real estate and construction costs associated with a shop right now.

I have never even heard of such shit. If you had told me that feul in the ear would make a big lumberjack like fucker like myself roll around on the floor in pain screaming and cursing I would have said you were full of shit. But a quick google search shows it really hurts like that.
