The XDm 9 is the most reliable gun I have. I abuse it and it just shoots.

I could have spent about $35.00 more and got it brand new..but I figured that was a fair price for a test drive being I have never owned one before..If all else fails and it don't meet my needs,I am sure I can list it back for what i paid for it...If I got a new one and did not like it and listed it on Ebay.. I assume I would probably only get what or around what I just purchased the used one for..And would be in the hole..

Fired 200 rounds through it today, very happy with it considering it has such a small barrel and polymer body. A bit louder and a little more wrist snap compared to my 1911's which I figured.

It is small enough to carry inside the waist band if needed. Mostly carry in my vehicles and not on me.

I would probably write you up if you refused to come in for a shift you had been scheduled for. Don't agree to work if you can't/don't want to. Depending on if you lied about not comming in I would fire ya actually.

1. It's a holiday, if everybody made their plans in advance and the schedule was clear cut, you ended up changing other people's schedules and that's not cool

2. What do you do there to make more than the minimum wage? Is it really something that deserves more than minimum wage?

3. Apply to other jobs. There is no excuse. Day to day I hear people complaining about their minimum wage job, yet when they want to apply to a better job they lack motivation, they act like self-entitled potatoes.

So, quit yer bitchin, suck it up and turn the ambition to 11 if you want to get somewhere.

I didnt change nobody's schedule,there was already someone working the same position as me, but it did make it tougher on them, and I just turned in a few applications in the past day.

Shot a springfied XD .40 and a bolt action Mossberg .308 this past weekend. The XD wasn't bad and had decent grouping at 10 yards. The .308 had a generic scope we worked on sighting. Unfortunately the bipod mounted to the plastic stock assembly left much to be desired. Hopefully he'll invest in a better stock, or a new bolt action.

I tried to like the XD, but the mod 2 version feels so much better.

My dad got t-boned in a parking lot last Wednesday. The lady was going so fast in the parking lot it lifted the Lexus off the ground, when it came down it rolled and spun on the roof. He only has a couple bruises from safety equipment. Other wise he's doing well.

Not trying to sound like a dick, but I hope you take those opportunities more seriously than your current job. My youngest would kill for your job. You develop a work ethic early in your job path, and you need to work on that from here on out, bud.

I was popping a fuel line off a RX400h today and pressurized fuel shot out towards my eyes. I have really good reflexes so I turned away before it got into my eyes and it went straight into my ear canal. At first I was like WTF? Then it started to burn. I started to walk towards the tech I work next to and asked him for a cup or bottle of water then it hit me. I yelled out in pain a string of curse words that would have made a sailor blush. I rolled around on the floor cursing at my co worker for not getting my water.

After an hour of flushing and fading in and out of reality because of the pain things settled down.

Holy fuck that hurts!

I am having a hard time hearing, and have to take ibuprofin to stop it from ringing.

I actually don't have ear drums. I had ear problems as a kid and had so many surgeries that they have fallen apart. They tried reconstructing my left ear drum, but it collapsed again. It is hilarious when a new doctor looks in my ears!
