January 25, 201312 yr Off for all you can eat sushiSpeaking of delicious food. Anyone ever had something delicious that you can't pass up in Tulsa OK or Moline (Quad Cities)
January 25, 201312 yr I have been bitten by the cooking bug lately, last night was my first lasagna ever... Heavy cream, Parmesan and Romano cheese, nutmeg, garlic white sauce with buttery spinach and lightly fried peperoni (gotta get the grease out of it) layers between the noodles and topped with 2 cups mozzarella, sliced Roma tomatoes and Italian seasoning. Damn folks it was really, really good. With fresh noodles it becomes way better. Also try a dried sausage of some sort instead of the pepperoni. Pepperoni is this blasphemous retardation of something that is naturally awesome. I'm having a hard time processing the concept that pepperoni is NOT awesome. Maybe some time in the future when I grow as a person I can accept these words you typed, but for now I'm just not strong enough... (not that I'm not willing to try fresh noodles and dried sausage instead of pepperoni, because I am) There is a reason we are about the only country in the world that eats pepperoni. It isn't because the pork and the spices that are in it are bad either. Just our chemical lazy way of manufacturing and not being able to deal with a real slow cure. That being said I have seen boutique pepperoni that is made correctly and fuck yeah, it's awesome. All the greazy nasties go away when produced right, the flavors develop further and all around there are no negatives. One hint to a good one. You'll have to cut it yourself and the outside of it won't look savory. I fry it lightly in a pan to extract the grease and blot with half a dozen paper towels, glad to read there is much better available, but curing takes time and time is money so I wouldn't be surprised to learn the US uses chemicals to do it cheap and fast- the main problem with chicken. My food budget is pretty limited these days, but I'll have to keep a look out for "real" pepperoni.
January 25, 201312 yr it's nice to see myself getting back in shape. i even went out and got myself a new bike, peddle bike, not motorized. something i use to really enjoy doingwhat'd you get? it's nothing special, just a DK "Cleveland". that way if i don't end up riding it i won't be out much. can't wait to hit the dirt and let it fly.
January 25, 201312 yr Basically take the Ford V8 out of our XC90 and put in a 3.2L inline 6 and you have the car. Ours has been stellar.I did read horror stories on the growing pains of the transition time when Ford bought Volvo in the late 90's and as with any new vehicle platform there are growing pains. Seems by the mid to late 2000's those were taken care of. They do seem to have issues with new technology incoming as well. Conveniently the XC60 was first sold in 2008. Basically the guts haven't changed since. The Hyundai was released 6 months ago. I am hugely opposed to first model year cars. Of course, I get to put out post production fires for a living. Some are shocking...Actually, the Volvo V8 is a Yamaha engine.
January 25, 201312 yr What do you guys prefer when it comes to a steering wheel cover material?I like leather as it glides nicely when for instance you have to straiten the car after a corner and so on.Open to ideas tho.
January 25, 201312 yr It is so much fun working at the haunt without heat! It is so cold the ghosts are hidding from me!

January 25, 201312 yr This is a big opportunity for this company...I read the above and thought, Now that's the right attitude! After the interview. It is. The position is something that they don't need. Not at all in fact, but they desperately want it. And the last person was not doing it.

Superb on pizza btw.

Pretty much am sure no one on this board gets it. If you listened to a ton of jazz you would though. It's all true.
