Did a little water skipping on the sled today. WTF, can't believe there was a river running though the lake.

Gotta hydroplane it, Bro! :P

I don't know the whole story, but if it's exactly how that article snippet describes then that's the shit that drives me insane.

Every report I've heard has described it exactly as that article. They found the injured fawn and called the DNR for assistance. The DNR basically told them to release to the wild and let it die, and it was illegal for them to keep it. They kept it anyways to rehabilitate it. When the DNR found out they went there to euthanize the deer, but by the time they got there the deer was released. So the DNR was bringing charges against them which could have resulted in 6 months (I believe) in jail plus fines.

Friday following the news coverage is when the Governor basically told them to drop the case.

If I was that cop I'd follow the jackass from DNR who pushed the case, and write him tickets left and right for unsafe lane changes, and the classic "Your tail-light is broken. No it's not. *bam* Now it is."

Think that plan might backfire.....the DNR is the most powerful law enforcement agency in the state ;) They basically have all of the power of every other state law enforcement agency, along with some power the others don't.

Saw this in a parking lot... It's not intentionally lowered like that.. Looks like the springs are 100% bottomed out.. Do people really not notice this kinda stuff?

This reminds me of a dude who wanted me to load his pick-up (VW Transporter) with 1 cubic yard of sand. I loaded half, the springs almost bottomed out and when I loaded the other half the tires looked like they had enough. It looked pretty funny :)

There are 2 things that annoy me:

1. I can't do any worthwile swap because of the POS European Union rules.

2. Why the hell install a car-pc and then buy a DSP?

I got an email last night saying the job I just interviewed was canceled. ..... he did say he might change the positions name, thus their system bumped out an email canceling it. It sent a rock right into my stomach. :-( :-( :-( :-(

BOOO!

If they do change the name are you still in the running or do you have to interview again?

Honestly, I think that they just changed the name of the job, and the guy I interviewed with wasn't aware it would cancel and rename it. He seemed like such a precise and personable guy I just couldn't believe he wouldn't have warned me about getting the email.

The third and least likely is that he thought after I left, and said, damnit I need that guy! I have got those generic emails before and then got the job the next Monday. Least likely because he drove home how much he didn't need someone and wanted to wait until march. It's a crazy job though, and I would get to do a little traveling. Only a little bit driving.

*Fingers crossed*

I need some life and spirit to my daily driver. Hence why I can never keep myself from modifying them. Upgraded rear sway, HID's and new PIAA Fogs going on the P5 Monday. smile.png/>

I need some rawr in mine even tho it's only 116hp. I've been tinkering with this idea of a dual exhaust, just need to figure out how to tune the sound to my likings.

Performance is an addition for me, far out weighting audio. tongue.png

After seeing the results of the sway-bars, I can safely say that return on investment is much greater than audio :D

The stupidest thing about this is that we are wasting money and resources to pursue these "criminals". Give me a freaking break!

Reminds me of a friend of mine who took a right at a stop sign at night and didn't notice a guy on his bike. The guy bumped his head and after talking with him my friend realized that he probably had a concussion. So my friend took him to the hospital, stayed with him through the whole process and got a fried to help fix his bike. At one point a cop asked about what happened. The cop walked away and came back with a ticket.

Oddly enough they are now really good friends and that guy is involved in our church now.

The air suspension system has a fault, it is a very common problem on Ford/Lincoln/Mercury vehicles. They can be very expensive to fix. I doubt he doesn't know about it, but I bet he can't afford to fix it.
