My first visit to Five Guys was very disappointing. My second visit (2 or 3 years later) changed my mind. It is not bad at all for "fast food". For fast food, or food made on the fly, Five Guys has some amazing burgers. Their fries are either love or hate. If you like crunchy fries, you'll be disappointed. Take heed if you order fries there... a large order is easily enough for three people. They fill almost the entire bag with fries. Damn. I'm a fatty and I want five guys now. A small order is enough for 3 people. I took 2 of my kids (both boys who can eat) and my wife. We got a large cajun fry and a regular large fry. We at less then half of all the fries.I prefer In-N-Out, but there are none on the east coast, so we will deal with 5 guys. In-N-Out fries fucking kick ass.I don't think I have had an in and out. There is a burger joint here that I love. Burger Jones. Great place. Too me though a top tier burger pretty much MUST have a runny yolk fried egg on it.

February 3, 201312 yr I hate chain fast-food. Now on the other hand, a shawarma with fresh veggies is a different story. Still classified as fast food here. It's a no-brainer even when it comes to cost / calorie. $3 for a big shawarma (which is a solid meal IMO) or $3 for a tiny burger and some fries (which won't keep my hunger away)?

Ultimately maxing your tax deferred funds from payroll deductions is the best plan! Unless all the options fucking suck or you are in a high 6figure income. Then it might not matter too much.
