As mentioned, there are a ton of transfers running around with factory fluid in them, but IMO it is just a tiny amount of money for fluid, and just a few minutes to drain and fill the unit. It doesn't matter how often you use it, it is always in motion as you drive. Preventative maintenance is always the cheapest route.I agree. Which is why I replaced the tires before 100% needed, and do my best to do oil changes every 5 k
