The 06' Xterra has been a good ride in the snow and all around. Its the off-road edition so has selectable locker in the rear, 265hp, 6 speed. The W likes it bc it has some crazy amount of air bags. something like 13 or 15 total. Daughters Lexus RX300 does well in the snow too although I haven't driven it as much. I FUCKING hate Subaru's, More fucking hate their drivers. I generally don't classify ppl that way but MFer's be a dumb breed that drive a Subby. Audi is definitely a no brainer. I shagged Audi's (and other brands) for a few years and the AWD has some serious sticking power. I owned one back in the day and can say it was a beast.

I also have no idea what a reliable cheep AWD car or SUV is.

Old Lexus LX
I will look into it. I feel like a shit. I didn't know her car was SO bad stopping in the snow.

Thinking I might find an 05 or 06 Acura RL on the cheep too.

Buy some snow tires. Cheapest solution here.

I would get a new car because cobalts just suck but if all you need is better traction snow tires will do the trick, my brother had blizzaks on his and it got around fine.

The Vifa tweeters I'm looking at for the Miata come in 19mm and 25mm voice coil versions. I'm thinking about using the 19mm version, smaller outer diameter and with the noise in the Miata....I don't need extremely good sound. Thoughts?

Better off axis and won't dig as low. Otherwise similar I bet. *have no idea which tweets you are looking at

Guess who's going to look at an 09' RMK in the morning? You would shit if you knew the price am picking this up for Sean.

$3k

Is well maintained. 156 track, lots of mods. You sir are a good fucking guesser.

The Wife don't know about the sled. lol I am going to look at it as soon as she leaves for her internship,  before I head to Denver. Will post pics later. May call you if i have any questions.

Pic's of the stainless appliances will have to wait until the maid come's Neal. LOL

How did you know I am damn good at house cleaning, all thats right I am married and too cheap to pay a maid. ;)

I could not agree more! They must watch all those dumb ass commericals and believe they can drive in anything.  My take is you meet the dumbest people in a Subaru if it is snowing.

That sounds about right. Yes maid is one of my many job tittles. lmao

True Nutrition guys, thanks for getting me drinking awesome tasting shakes again. The only thing I miss is the nasty gas that came with every muscletech shake.

New rule in this house; If you let something on my counter, I assume you missed the trash can and I will put it there for you. :)

It must take a certain personality type to think a Subby is a good choice. I will admit I have owned two and hated both of them. Maintenance was through the roof as something different would break every week. My mom had an Outback right when they first came out and I can say it was about the only one I ever drove I liked.

Good rule. I just don't give a fuck and that route seems to work pretty well for me. :P

My parents love them and that is all they own now. I drove dad's Trebica with 31k on it and it needs all the bushing replaced in the front end already. They told him that was normal and offered him replacement parts at a discount. Needless to say I would never own one.

I don't wanna go to work. Napping with the dog sounds muuuuuuuch better.

I don't wanna grow, I wanna be a....Oh wait. Get your ass up and go to work. -add whip cracking sounds here.

For fun I call my FIL and the bushing prices he gave me were a little less than 1/2 what the dealership offered dad. Wearable item my ass.

No work for me today, so a nap is inline at some point today. :)

It isn't a ProRide, that is what it would go for here. wink.png Usually MN has about the best sled prices in the country so I just took a what would I pay.

BTW, next Oct you will be able to sell that for $4-4.5k. smile.png Feb is BY FAR the best time to buy. The sled I bought 3 years ago next fall I expect to make money on if I put it up for sale.

The Wife don't know about the sled. lol I am going to look at it as soon as she leaves for her internship,  before I head to Denver. Will post pics later. May call you if i have any questions.

Which engine? What shocks (ie is it a Dragon or base?) A link to the ad would work too smile.png
