April 30, 201411 yr I've had many different wines and they've all tasted the same to me. I am willing to try anything, but I can pretty much guarantee I won't like it.I had a ton before I liked it as well. Paired with food and done well is an experience that will change perspective. If I do recall you have a way sweeter tooth than I though so it just might not be possible for me to help.
April 30, 201411 yr Not a wine fan myself, but I can taste a difference. It is simply not my taste. I have drank some shit whiskey that would make me say I hate whiskey, but I love me some good whiskey. Same with beer... There is a point of diminishing returns, but in some cases it isn't worth finding that point.
April 30, 201411 yr I agree that there is a lot of things that aren't worth looking for. I just also see wine as an accessory to food. Most people won't chase food like I do either though.
April 30, 201411 yr I think my issue is the alcohol. ONce it gets to a certain level, it all tastes the same to me.

April 30, 201411 yr Back pain SUCKSEspecially when it's back AND neck. Impossible to sleep since there is NO comfortable position.Go see a chiro. Might just need some realligning.JI personally cannot recommend a chiro, but massage helps. We saw too many people in the ER from chiro visits gone wrong and I now know 2 people who have had chiropractic strokes.I went to friend who is a chiropractor and he fixed me up pretty good I felt great for like a week and then after that it was back to normal pain

I am willing to try anything, but I can pretty much guarantee I won't like it.Same here, all I really get is grape juice with a bit of Alcohol in it.My wife loves wine, but I refuse. I typically drink whisky or a good quality micro brew.
April 30, 201411 yr Grape juice & a bit of alcohol should be drank by no one. Purple Passion in 1989 ok, but today no.
April 30, 201411 yr I'm rather fond of beer as well. Oldest Microbrew in town has an outdoor stereo I installed for a bar tab over 15 years ago. Still get free beer every Sat for an hour.
April 30, 201411 yr name="///M5" post="1065823" timestamp="1398823740"]Grape juice & a bit of alcohol should be drank by no one. Purple Passion in 1989 ok, but today no.I guess that's bit of an exaggeration, living near the nappa valley has it's perks though . Tons of good wine for cheap, just not my cup of tea. My wife usually drinks pretty dark reds, I've had some Riesling That I didn't mind but that's a bout it.
April 30, 201411 yr Have a lot here too, not a valley I particularly like. Some gems but they are really hard to find and expensive. Not real keen on $30 bottles of wine + when I can easily drink 2 in a sitting.
April 30, 201411 yr What would you suggest for me? You can easily get overwhelmed in the wine market since everyone and their mothers has their own vineyard, plus all the different regions, grape types, etc it seems pretty hit and miss.I typically like sweeter stuff, light, and drinkable.

April 30, 201411 yr There are VERY few wines I just pick to drink. VERY. That being said, I have no issues drinking before and after I eat. Fucking love that.
April 30, 201411 yr I hate so much hiring someone to do something. Not for the reason that I don't mind paying someone who is great to do something. I just hate the process of shopping for the person who can do what I want without fucking it all up or bending me over since I picked wrong.
April 30, 201411 yr So that all being said. What do I use for a base tune? ie, I swap my short block, cam/springs, bolt on a turbo and new exhaust and what do I flash to the ECU for the first time?
April 30, 201411 yr Then if I have something good enough for a dyno base tune wouldn't it be good enough for a street base tune? ie, not to drive around but drive around to acquire data?
April 30, 201411 yr These guys do a ton of trucks and I sell the EFI Live competitively. http://blackbearperformance.com/
April 30, 201411 yr No matter what tune I get or do I want to see it, be able to download it and view/post all settings.
April 30, 201411 yr So that all being said. What do I use for a base tune? ie, I swap my short block, cam/springs, bolt on a turbo and new exhaust and what do I flash to the ECU for the first time?Have you tried contacting any of the major online tuning companies or did you want to do a dyno tune? I contacted sct for my mustang and it was tunes for life and a tuner for 4xx. Even when I was looking at a supercharger setup. They said they could do a pretty balls on accurate tune for 81/87/93 octane.
April 30, 201411 yr Order a 2 3/4 drop kit with sways http://tbssowners.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=180 Panhard bar http://tbssowners.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=163 Next is adding the 16/14 Wilwood Brake Kit. Found a used one for $2500 but waiting to really hear on the condition. Git R Done turbo kit http://www.kbracing.net/about.html Short block http://www.texas-speed.com/p-416-tsp-427-cid-lsx-short-block.aspx Haven't looked at having a block built up locally, but don't know if that makes me feel better or worse. Part of me of course wants to take it apart and double check everything myself too, but I really just don't have time.

I just hadn't really ever thought about initial startup before. Was also too cheap to dyno my first car when I built it. Suppose it is the same. Fat and happy. Just didn't know if you could force the ECU to be smart and fat and happy.
