March 6, 201312 yr I loaded up my cart exactly the same as yours, W140. These are my shipping costs: Yeah thats crazy. I wonder why yours would be so much more?
March 6, 201312 yr Would you buy tires from Wal Mart for a Ferrari just because they looked the same? No, but I wouldn't put fake tires on my Ferrari either. Protein for me comes in the form of meat, nuts, and the like. I wouldn't have the Ferrari in the first place. There are much better things to buy for six figures.
March 6, 201312 yr If you are in a rural area sometimes UPS charges a hefty premium for residential/rural fee.
March 6, 201312 yr Use a blue bearing grease. Water can nit permeate or move the blue stuff. Kendal Super Blue kicks fuckin ass.

March 6, 201312 yr If you are in a rural area sometimes UPS charges a hefty premium for residential/rural fee. Interestingly enough we are on a rural mail route, even though we are in a large subdivision inside city limits and our neighbors across the street on are on regular USPS route.
March 6, 201312 yr Sneaking suspicion it might have to do with cache/cookies...lemme try a fourth time
March 6, 201312 yr As much time that u have check and quadruple checked shipping quotes you could have already paid for that extra shipping.
March 6, 201312 yr DISREGARD PREVIOUS POSTS. I'M EDITING OUT THE SCREENSHOTS FROM THE LAST FEW POSTS TO AVOID CONFUSION. OK, I've done this four times in a row, throwing out cache and cookies each time. I got the same results each time. These would be the shipping rates to me if I ordered what W140 ordered: And these would be the shipping rates for a 5 lb. bag of Custom Mix, shipped to me:
March 6, 201312 yr I've got three different splined tools. Doesn't help you much. Doh I found the right splined tool today for $5, got the cassette changed without a chainwhip. Bearings were in surprisingly good condition after this winter's commute. Gave the chainring a good clean and also cleaned up the "new" brakes. I need to find a day to install the brakes and brake cables until next Sunday when the season opener for the MTB championship takes place. 4 or 5 laps on a 2.3 mile track. I'm going this Sunday with some co-workers to check out the track. And then it's tire shopping time Would be cool to take my 20+ year old bike and whoop some expensive bike arse WHoop 'em. I also ride a 1993 mtb. Road bike is 10 years older I smoke people all the time. Cables take a half hour maybe, not a day. Make sure you lubricate the new ones first as they don't come that way and it is way easier before assembly.

March 6, 201312 yr Sean. Carrot soup. Thanks for the recipe. I made some changes..... lolI didn't plan for that much ginger. Instead of white wine it got some rice wine. Added a little extra lemon juice and some small sweet fesh yellow orange and red peppers. That should help perking up that "freshness" the ginger would. Toasted my own cumin to add to my generic curry powder too.A new question now comes up. How do I handle the spice residue in the coffee mill?

Substitutions sound reasonable though. I grind salt in my mill to remove it. Probably more effective ways, but that and a quick wipe down is enough for me. More important for when you grind things like cloves since they hang out for a while.
