July 14, 201411 yr Do a blind a/b test, it'll be better for you than anything you've ever done. If you want, mail me some songs I'll encode them for you and send them back. You tell me which ones you can tell the difference between. Cheat, use your headphones. It'll make you happy with your choice.Thought about trying a blind test. Im using 320kbs mp3 right now. Maybe I'll just make a bunch of files and put it on random. Should I throw a few different encoders into the mix? I've also done some null tests for my undergrad research. So based on that I realize there's little difference between high bit rate mp3 and lossless but its not an area I feel understand confidently. In that case it had more to do with the data than whether or not an audible difference exist.I doubt you'll end up at needing 320
July 14, 201411 yr Over a year since I got my black Allen Edmonds. My cordovan wingtips are just about a month younger. Maybe less. Then a third pair purchased in the fall/winter I think. 3 pair on a consistent rotation for a year. Usually just for work, but they have some nights out and other events through the year. Pretty amazed they have made it this long without needing a resole, or needing a deep polish. The wingtips have some scuffs and wear that need to be looked at sooner or later, but in general this things are great. If I get another 6 months before they need a refurbishing, they will exceed the initial investment. If the refurbishing lasts 2 years, they will have paid for themselves.Good shoes work
July 14, 201411 yr You'll want to keep the grease right at 300. After pounding use a towel and press the water out of the chicken. If it's wet the water will evaporate and push the batter off the meat. Stick it in your egg wash and put in the fridge for a bit uncovered to let it dry up a bit. You don't want the wash real runny. Batter, fry without messing with it much besides flipping. If you keep the oil at 300 while cooking it'll be done when it's golden brown. Set it on a wire rack for 5 minutes before cutting or platting. It'll allow the grease to leave the batter and prevent the batter from falling off.300 is dangerous...if it drops
July 14, 201411 yr Might buy the wife and daughter their own handguns to play with. She liked this one. Any thoughts?http://www.sigsauer.com/CatalogProductDetails/mosquito-purple.aspxEh, I wouldn't, they are very picky on ammo.

Yea I have read that, but I have lots of 22 long rifle ammo that works in these with out issue or so I have been told. What would be a better option?
July 14, 201411 yr Me, I would choose a Ruger mk 2 or 3 22/45. My brother has a mosquito, not to impressed, he can never get it too run reliably for any significant period of time.
July 14, 201411 yr If a glock man, one with a .22 kit, or a .22 m&p man if one of them. Now if you already have Sig, them I would consider the mosquito. For a .22 plinker, not on the top of the list.

July 14, 201411 yr One of the 1911 .22s look interesting. I was looking at that for my collection. http://www.gandermountain.com/modperl/product/details.cgi?pdesc=Sig-Sauer-1911-22-Handgun&i=GM447593

It is just that a plinker for the ladies. Kinda excited they want to do this, so I figure I need to get them fixed up.
July 14, 201411 yr I wouldn't worry with a 22. By mom, girlfriend, and sister carry and shoot 38's. All of then under 5'3" 130 lbs.
July 14, 201411 yr We do not carry guns on us and never will. I have a lot of 22 ammo and figure if they want to shoot for fun why not.

That is their intent currently. They usually go out with us and blow shit up during our shoots. I am thinking a mother daughter fun time as she is getting older.
July 14, 201411 yr I have a new vehicle on the way. Not exactly what I wanted, but it comes with a $7K in equity with no initial money out of my pocket, so it was hard to refuse.
July 14, 201411 yr I will post photos when it is in my posession. It shares a chassis with the same vehicle I have been speaking about buying.
