July 30, 201411 yr Hard to enter that shit. Of course short block, HP Tuners software, and Tune not in the list. Short block is next year.
July 30, 201411 yr Admin Can you divulge any information or is there an NDA? The first two models are up on the stock and we have a couple in stock alreadySo that's a no. . . . What info can I help with? Mike, the engineer that was teamed up with Stephen on the original USA series (that I collect) is bringing back US Acoustics. They seem well built and are not just another slap a badge on a chiner or korea same old. Pricing is good too.
July 30, 201411 yr Admin . . . . . But not Zed built? Not this time. That is now become totally cost prohibitive for todays market. Heck, we barely even sell any ZED.
July 30, 201411 yr Ok you mechanics. 99 Chevy Lumina w/ 3.1L, typical GM crap. So funny noises started happening, isolated it to the AC compressor and it seems to be the clutch bearings are out, sounds awful. I find new clutches on rockauto.com for 50$ for a ACDelco part, is it as simple as pulling it off and replacing it? I seem to have worked on most everything but AC systems on cars, any special tools? Yes, you will need a clutch puller and installer. You will also need flat feeler gauges to set the clutch gap. I suggest buying a complete compressor. Any reason you recommend a complete compressor instead? I'm assuming when the clutch bearing goes, the rest is also worn out too? Car has 90k on it, and I don't see owning it in another year. FWIW the compressors are known leakers at the press gap midship of the compressor. If you aren't keeping it than toss the clutch on it.

You won't be winding it out much higher than current redline so I don't forsee a lot of float. Pushrods, not really. Cat and exhaust are suggested with the hairdriers. Better flow after the blowers and short tubes before have always proven optimal. Not sue what the feed adapter is. Is the requirement based on a resized pump feed inlet?

Short block is next year. After everything is said and done, wouldn't it of been easier to buy one with a blown engine and just build that way?J Blown as in destroyed or charged? Mine was basically "blown" as it was nearly $20k cheaper than others of the same year.
July 31, 201411 yr $15k minimally. The suspension and boost and I won't have eaten the full $15k. Once I add the short block I'll eclipse it, but who cares at that point. Plus the truck was free, I just pay for mods. What I don't spend on its value at lease end is taxable as well so the upgrades are pre-income tax basically.

In your opinion, a log manifold for a DIY turbo kit would be a good value option? Most likely built by me after seeing how easy it was to weld some stainless exhaust tube (I want to turbo the Miata)

Most likely built by me after seeing how easy it was to weld some stainless exhaust tube (I want to turbo the Miata) Turbo's are pretty forgiving. Just want them close to the exhaust and sized appropriately. Considering your motor size you can get away with a used diesel piece. Plenty of reasonable chinese intercoolers on ebay too. If I had time/skills to make something I would, but I don't.
July 31, 201411 yr At the dermatologist. The poison ivy I "originally" had has almost healed but it has spread everywhere except my back and back of legs. My forearms are swollen to where the skin is tight.I'm extremely thankful its not on my face or genitals anymore but the fact it has not stop spreading bothers me. Its starting to get where I feel a bit sick throughout the day.
