LMAO!!

Yea I was checking out the NY area and they are getting lots of snow.

Hear it is cold and windy.

No joke, this is from WKBW in Buffalo. The Southtowns are where I spent my teens, Cheektowaga/West Seneca area. They traditionally get more snow than the city and northtowns.

Oh Buffalo... how I miss thee... or not.

Fuck, I'm glad I don't deal with that shit in AZ. 115F isn't that bad. :D

I want that snow.

No, dude... you seriously dont. That is the greatest snowfall in the history of the US in 24 hours... yes, even Alaska. I was up there in 77, and we had a monster bilizzard, roughly 12 feet in 3 days. When I was in college we went to a friend's place in the boonies for the weekend and wound up with 9 feet in 2 days. We were stranded for 4 days. Drifts were 20 feet high on our drive back to school. Walls of snow on either side of the road, and it took months before they melted enough to see anything beyond a few feet off the road. Snow like that is no joke.

When I did my Dyno training in 97 I spent a couple days in Pheonix in August. It was over 120F... Fuck that shit, at least in that kind of snow you have the perfect cooler for your beer right outside your window.

Once you get acclimated it's not too bad. Last week we used some liquid nitrogen to "cool" some beer, ended up freezing everything and having to go buy more beer.

Of course liquid nitrogen is -320 Fahrenheit or better...Heat travels to colder temps VIA "heat removal" the colder the temp the more heat will be removed in time..Your beer did not stand a chance..Just a -130 degrees or so from absolute zero..

Oh Buffalo... how I miss thee... or not.

On the news this morning I saw someone that had built a beer shelf out of the snow wall outside his door

Oh I would stay till the chicken wings were gone regardless!!! I can tear them up..

I would take a foot or two of that snow to go with the cold here Seth.

That would give me reason to use 4 wheel drive in the 4runner.

Agreed I would like to play I'n a few feet..But that is about it..

We have tractors, four wheelers, and 4x4's here in amish land. Lots of fun for sure!

hoping snow holds off till after thanksgiving weekend so i can make it home. guess I could detour a bit south if i had too.
