March 28, 201312 yr FWIW my sister and I test drove a '13 Sequoia today. Best handling body on frame SUV I've ever driven. Plus it has gadgets galore.Sales guy is begging me to come drive it.
March 28, 201312 yr Almost rolled my quad tonight. Hitting a corner hard on loose gravel and my ass end was kicked wide. I caught the grass and the bike just flew. It was more luck that kept me afloat then skill. Ended up facing backwards, my right shoulder is really sore, and I twisted my ankle pretty fucking good.Hmm, almost crashed myself today. Came off a 10' cornice with a lip and proceeded to land on a 4' bump that was nearly a wall. Bottomed the FUCK out of the sled and bounced like a motherfucker but rode it out. For the next hour it took nearly 20mph off my average speed lol. My heart was humpin'. Pounded 215miles today.
March 28, 201312 yr ryobi or dewalt 18 volt lithium-ion cordless drill?Makita or Rigid. I hate the Rigid, but the lifetime battery warranty is sweet. Doesn't hold a charge for shit and has minimal power in comparison, but if you are looking at Ryobi's it won't really be a step down. The Mak's are bombproof.
March 28, 201312 yr I have a bunch of the Rigids. Contractor I use for some stuff has all Makita. His stuff KILLS mine.
March 28, 201312 yr Be warned, the Makitas have plastic brusholders, and if you get them hot, they will melt and that is not covered under warranty. Now, with that said, if you are getting them hot enough to melt them, you are in need of a real drill, but either way, just some info. All my years in the construction trades, I prefer DeWalt.
March 28, 201312 yr I love my Makita stuff, the old man has them as well, no problems. At work we have Bosch, quality, no problems, but no advantages over cheaper units like Makita I feel other than to start with the same power units. I've used some of the newer dewalt stuff and not been a fan at all of their drills.I Think the older stuff of DeWalt is better than the new stuff. I've seen the older units fall off 20 ft roofs, bounce on concrete and still function. Old milwaukee is awesome too, not sure about new stuff
March 28, 201312 yr I realize I am getting older when my favorite Pandora stations are Fleetwood Mac and Reo Speedwagon...lol
March 28, 201312 yr in my wrecker mostly classic rock for me.. hey swift i need to talk to you about your gopro3.. my shits shady!
March 28, 201312 yr I scared up at least 100 deer today, 20 bald eagles, a red fox, and a ton of other fauna. A Go Pro would have caught some fun footage. Chasing 6 deer at 26mph down the trail for nearly a half mile was nuts!
March 28, 201312 yr may just get this one http://www.amazon.com/Controller-Knob--High-Efficiency-Generating-Protection/dp/B007TH4EN6/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1364454220&sr=8-5&keywords=pulse+width+modulator

March 28, 201312 yr Sean I know you covered this but why is the Tundra off the list? Can tow over 10k, has pretty damn good acceleration stock, supercharger available without voiding the warranty, comfortable interior, and handles very very well. I know it doesn't have the push button from the factory but what else kills it for you? J 10k is a little optimistic... The 2013's are rated at 9,000 w/ a tow package on the big engine. I'm not quite calling BS, but I sure wouldn't be pulling it on that on a truck with a GVWR of only 7,200lbs. Compare that to a 2010 F-250 Super Duty with a GVWR of 9,200lbs and its only rated to tow 10k with the 3.7x rear axle ration. I have no doubt it can tow that 9k lbs on a nice day on a nice road, but stopping and when things get squirrely is when stuff goes wrong big time. http://pressroom.toyota.com/article_print.cfm?article_id=2072 Straight from Toyota. Not saying it's certainly accurate but its what they have it rated as. J

Guarenteed Sean won't agree with most of these points. My ML doesn't handle very very well btw. Sure as shit the Tundra handles like a turd, only question is if it is fixable without complete custom parts. Looking SPECIFICALLY in the pick up truck market, and stock not after 5k of suspension upgrades, what have you found that handled better? I ask because IMHO its smoother and more nimble than anything Dodge, chevy, or Ford has come out with in years. J

The only full size stock truck I've driven that does handle is my Uncles SRT10. It's a dodge and I am sure it'll make the Tundra feel like it handles like crap. I'd also bet the SS Chevy will too, which is sad because it's equally a turd in the handling spectra. Making big behemoths handle is silly, absurd, dumb, and ridiculous. Exactly why I want to do it.
