So I washed the Camry today.  Second time in a year.

Do tell

Why the hell did I read that as "crashed".

Almost crashed my car the other day tho. Exiting my street, it was raining pretty hard and some fucker was parked right at the corner at the STOP, thus I had terrible vision. I don't know why I decided to go without 100% sure the street was clear. Almost got hit directly into my door.

Got a blue screen 3 times, Windows wouldn't boot up after that. I ended up reinstalling Windows and losing only my browser data, only to find out that my backup drive refused to work.

Lo-and-behold, running chkdsk from command prompt fixed my backup disk. It would have probably fixed by Windows disk too but I had no idea it could do that :(

How do I close the ads on the right?

There should be a " X "  in the corner.

Anybody have any SOLID reasons to go away from an iPad besides cost and if cost is the only reason what makes the other better for the $$$?

J

I'd look at that differently. What possible reason would you look at an ipad for in that application?

I wouldn't get an iPad to type on. I personally do not like apples word processor either so is stick with an ultra book. I bought a cheap HP netbook 3 years ago for work due to the fact it is tiny and it works extremely well on the go. I can get about 4 hours of continuous web browsing out of a charge.

Apple products suck shit at music too. Absolutely horseshit and organizing and dealing with playlists and anything. Add to that their incapability to expand to external memory cards, hdd's, or sd cards and they suck donkey dick at media. Fuck the cloud bullshit. I want it with me NOW.

Definatly agree there. I guess you haven't tried windows 8 yet. Now that is a major cluster fuck trying to go back and forth and opening programs.

Doesn't google have some nice smallish laptops?

*typed from windows 8

Windows 8 is basically the same as 7 with a stupid little metrosexual window that pops up all the time to get in your way. When you see it just type what you want and BAM. The startup speed improvement though is nuts. Exactly why I thought I could get away with a Carputer now. I have no tolerance for slow startup but my pc will beat the Benz to full power.

For the car it'd be Google Maps, My music, and Bluetooth.

I've got it on my new all in one and it is a pain in the ass. Do you know of any way to open a PDF like normal. I have not been able to get the program to operate like normal instead of an "app". I can't for the like of me minimize it. The only way to swap to a different tab or program is to close the file. And I can't figure out how to have two PDFs open at the same time.

Also curious if there is actually a good noise cancelling mic for the PC I could hide not so far from my mouth. Conveniently the sunshade is right there and I don't ever need it since the roof works for me.

Would probably add a USB antenna to cover sports radio too.

Curious how Pandora might stream via bluetooth as well. I assume shitty

There are some badass digital USB antennas for tv also. I have one for my netbook that works through my hotspot and or antenna

Download Adobe Reader or Foxit or your preference and change your default to using it. Alt + F4 will close that app so no need to minimize. Alt+tab will go straight back to your last app if that is what you want to do. All sorts of swipe shortcuts too.
