Building that armor is very similar to building adult armor. Cut and modify to fit the body and attach with Velcro and snaps to keep the authentic look of the movies.

The difference in the first order trooper is you would have to cut the black out of the bucket so the child can see, if I do it I was going to use a black tinted film so you can not see the eyes.

After seeing that picture I want some chocolate milk!

Ha, it was cute.  They hired middle schoolers to dress up and give out treats at the local grocery store.  One kid stuffed the chocolate milk in Tanner's pocket and the cheese in his belt.  I'm just glad they gave out non-candy treats!  Makes me want to support the store a bit more.  Of course, it is one helluva premium store so it's painful to do so.  SUPER quality though.  Love the cheese shop.

I have some no-see-um fabric that looks black but you can see through it.  Would probably "work" for the eyes.

I bet your boys would love to help dad make one too!

Exactly why I wish you would have said something earlier!

I just found out last week that a friend on the forum was doing this when he posted it, sorry I did not think you all would enjoy my nerd ideas as my wife calls them.

Is seem the ringing in my ears is driving me nuts in the absents of an ac fan running while I sleep, so I picked up one of these

We've had one for years. Works well, the in-laws have been using one for decades I think.

Tonight will be my first night using it. I hope I have the same luck. :)

How did I miss the cheese! :)

How big of a kid can you stuff in that thing?

Depends on how far you want to modify the parts. You can add more material in areas to make things larger.

Going to go take the 6yr old niece around town this weekend, apparently she's requested we take her.

Awesome, we always had my nieces and nephews on Halloween because our neighborhood is awesome for tricker treating.

We are leaving the 31st for vacation so not tricker treating for me.
