Budget, I don't care.  Don't be unreasonable. I'm rough on my toys, so for me the weight and performance(is that a metric?) are much less important than being able to be beat to shit and be ridden like a jackass.

This is mainly just for fitness. I enjoy riding on technical trails.  I will probably spend 80% of the time on the road however.

It would be cool if I could find something that I could ride in the winter too.

If that means more than one bike I might be crabby.

If I could find off-road trails close to here it would probably change to 80% trail and technical.

This happened today. I used 4low for the first time. Pulled no problem.

Hope it doesn't rain yet again.  We are on a 18 out of 22 days of rain, and Arthur has had 2 games rained out.

Yes, I know I should have used an F12 or so. But cool pic. No editing other than shrinking it.

Nice.  Don't need 12 for that small of a DOF.  Looks good, a bit more F would help though.  I'd try lengthening the exposure time and lower the built in exposure a notch.  Obviously increasing the F stop will help too so that you don't flare out the second tube again.

Matt this might help.  It is for XL and bigger frames, but normally frames scale.  Finding an Ice Cream Truck in L may be a good start for a test ride.

And yes there are more in that spreadsheet, and no it is not something you can download.  I am an odd size and shop like an idiot so that is all my dumbass.  Long ETT and low standover are your friends.  Standover not that big of a deal.

I would try to find a 170mm and 190mm Q factor to compare.  The ICT will be 190 and I think the Pivot Le Fat you rode is a 170mm...but I will have to Google to check.  The ICT may be too slack, but holy hell can it go through shit.  I test rode one and rode through 18" deep mud.  Got all nasty lol

I need to figure out how to make the flash less obtrusive. I flashed a smaller light off the back wall to make the Senn emblem show up (tubes thread on a Headphone forum, plus the HD600s kick ass), but the back wall shows up in the top black of the 6V6 tubes. Maybe it is just an inherent evil of the ultimate goal of the image. IIRC this is a 30sec exposure... maybe 25, but no less. I have a flexeril/Woodford combo working on my brain right now, so I am feeling too rubbery to take another shot.

Played a bit with perspective on my "trophy" rifle tonight as well. Shitty background (my summer blanket), but I was interested on how my focal length played with the image...
