June 30, 20169 yr I want to test drive both the 18 and 20 before. Stupid DOT/Coast Guard tiller regulations for under 20' suck. 90hp on a nearly 19' boat is not enough. 17' with 90 okay, but still when the same boat can have a 225hp without a tiller that stinks. Not trusting the work around of adding a l/r button on a handle to declare "remote steering" either....but a hydraulic assist tiller is as effective as a wheel. Will wear you out more, but shit oh no.
