Adobe's subscription model is interesting (in the increase profits as much as possible way)

Pay $120 each year (it's still an annual subscription even if paid monthly) so you get access to LR and Photoshop.

Or buy LR for $143, BUT you'll get "left behind" on cool new updates.

Did we mention you get Photoshop with the subscription model?

Don't forget about the cool new updates!

LR gets updated all the time even if you buy it.  Plus cool updates are useless if they aren't the ones you need.

Currently it is KICK ASS at white balance and that sort of processing.

Also a KICK ASS cataloging system.

Anything else you can do in Gimp for free.

Wtf Dallas you bitch

My roomate had an affair with a woman named Dallas.

So my buddy just turned me on to Crashplan. For a single computer it's $60 a year for unlimited cloud and Local backup software. For multiple computers (up to 10) it's $150 per year.

I may just get Crashplan as well and have a Local backup and 2 cloud backups.

Plot twist, Dallas was a man.

That would be super funny.  And he had great tits.
