A few reasons this will be helpful.

1) Active ignores impedance so you can just set it and be golden in the range

2) You can play over and over with baffle compensation and with your baffles in particular that will be helpful

3) You can experiment without spending money, generally speaking an active crossover will be cheaper than its analog counterpart anyways.  If you have 10 iterations of analog then you are out a ton of cash for what could have been done easily active

Lol!  For garage speakers.

I don't have a processor, I am currently using my Yamaha 797 2 channel.

The mids are currently running wide open, I just want to protect the tweeters.

So I was thinking about running a single run of Stinger speed wire from the stock HU to processor, then processor back to the stock harness with Metra adapters to connect the speakers. It would be easier to do than multiple 12-14ga runs, but I'm not sure of the wire quality. The wire is 9 runs of 18ga wire in a single 4ga jacket. Im running roughly 75w per channel at about 15'. Am I correct in my thinking that 75w should be fine?

Other option is just man up while I have the interior stripped and run the multiple runs I would need.

Can you use a computer as a source?  That and few measurements and the crossovers are easier to narrow down..

And yes, anything is better than stock.  I have nearly a thousand feet of monprice 18/4 wire run in the house.

Let me see what I can come up with.

Salon on one side of the new office, nail shop on the other....

A caribou and a starfux in ths same lot too...

Next to the lakes and it hasn't been warm in a while...

Holy talent batman.  I normally don't even notice pretty women, but this is another level.

Should have seen Tonka yesterday.  Were at least 80 boats moored in my bay.  Binocular peepers dream.

Can just drive the boat up and get close lol

Best idea yet. I will just keep the lens on them as we pull up.

Not creepy at all if we just tell them we are reporters and confused them for models.

"You aren't a model??? Unbelievable!?!?!?! You should be, want to take some headshots now?"

Yes, minidsp in my garage, lol

Curious which dsp you are using for that application?

I have some crappy "truck boxes" I built a while back that are a bit too small for some Kicker components as garage speakers.  Just using a miniDSP that is laying around to clean them up.  Couple parametric suck outs and a shelf filter to normalize the response and blend it with the sub better.
