That isn't decoupled, I see 8 rather coupled locations...

< trying to stomach the 5k I just blew on my daughters car at the ford service center.

Water pump, power take-off, brakes and some wiring issues.

12 hrs for the water pump alone.

Not really happy about, but keeps the ladies content. So here I am.

Other daughter blew her motor up a few months ago, so had to replace that.

Need to buy a set of tires for the W also.

Could use a drink right about now...

Calling all gym rats :D

Following my suggestions to start working out, my girlfriend bought 2 gym passes. Now, I've got a few plans down for me so I think I'm covered, plus I've restarted light training in the office basement for the past 3 weeks.

I'm clueless what plan should I start her on. She's the skinny type and I'd like to go to the gym 3 days per week.

Start with some cardio, then train the same groups I'm training?

For example:

Day 1: Legs + shoulders

Day 2: Chest + triceps

Day 3: Back + biceps

Legs alone.  Squatting properly means your whole body was involved.  Especially if you develop all squat styles.  Legs can have their own day.  The rest of your body you can rest, but you will still have to walk all week while you recover.  Etcetcetc

Hit shoulders with chest.  Focus on overhead press with perfect posture.  You won't need any extra triceps work.  For chest concentrate on dips and incline as a bench substitute.

Back and biceps are classic and the only thing I could even suggest is a 4 day split where you hit arms and calves on their own day to take off the big muscle groups.  I also feel forearms, calves, and core can be hit almost every day within reason.  Especially if your trying to push up your big big lifts.  I circuit my legs and back every day and do heavy 3 days a week at the moment with a lot of mild to moderate cardio .  A lot of that is furniture moving so YMMV.

The system I'm talking about is more for health and not focusing on gaining the most muscle or anything.  Just not losing any while cutting.  It's also postural related to help my back.

I stretch before bed too, Yoga is your best bet IMHO.

Those are completely useless.  A ball alone is helpful...for a VERY short period of time.  I bought one of these in 85cm (yes I am tall lol) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0018E8EOG/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It functionally helped during my rehab (slipped disk) for about 2 weeks after which time I learned to balance on it.  Add the chair thing to it and you wouldn't need to learn anything.  The goal of the ball is to use the muscles constantly but as soon as you become comfortable enough to slouch on it the benefit goes away.

Afterwards I bought a stand up desk and a Herman Miller Embody

It does wonders compared to the ball.  The stand up desk as well.  I bought just the motorized legs and used a table top I had.  Here is where I chose from:

Interested in said stretches.

Prayer, downward dog, corpse, Bruce Lee's fold in half jack knife, and if I get thin enough I'll do these backwards rolls.

I'll show it all to You, tour core will change dramatically and you will get way more air when moving.

I use a steelcase leap, I got that $999 chair for $90 at a second hand office furniture store.  Sean you need them in your life if you don't know about it.  It's in NE Mpls.

I tossed in a drafting height piston so I could sit at my super tall drafting desk!

Anyone try a vacuum coffee maker yet? Worth upgrading from the French press?

Kinky...but I like it.

Ha, needs one of these too.

But instead of dropping 1k on one I bought a beat to shit one on CL for $75.  Nice that Starbucks went from real machines to shitty full auto ones and sold off their killer gear cheap.

16g per shot or 28 cappuccinos per pound.  Shit is $20/lb though so I buy them green for $4/lb.

Need a behmor roaster then too

My payoff happened fast.  I NEVER go to a coffee shop and buy anything there as they all suck in comparison.  Perfect caps, latte's, americano's, espresso, breve, hot chocolate, mocha, all in less than 2 minutes.
