April 30, 201312 yr good news today. i had my ultrasound and found out that i get to keep my life and my balls. it turned out to be epididymitis. thanks for all of your support though guys! i was pretty worried Good to hear! So what is the treatment?
April 30, 201312 yr It should go on with minimal effort. Did you bend the rail perhaps? The o ring on the injector nearest the bumper is stuck inside the fuel rail I believe, that or it is gone completely. I'm going to try to use a dental mirror to confirm, but it feels like there is a rubbery squish when I try to put the rail down on the injector. Last time I took it off it slid back on like cupcakes.I can't get the rail to mate with the injector. It feels like it has a solid connection, but gas just sprays out. I tried petroleum jelly and wd 40 to maybe ease the injector into the o ring while inside the rail. No luck.Maybe I will get my first bit of good luck and the O ring will just be MIA and I can grab one from the store and not worry about removal from the rail. The last attempt of the night/morning had the rail seated deeper than ever but it still just shot out fuel, so perhaps it got washed out.As much of a pain all this has been for me, I don't think I have ever learned so much intangible info on working on a vehicle.Ruined the fuck out of my manicure though.Oh and thank you guys for reminding me to blow out the holes before pulling the plugs. WTF, one of the holes on the drivers side was stuffed with dried out coolant powder. Ultra nasty.the oring must be on the injector, not in the hole. Use a pick to fish it out... barring use of a pick, angle a wire coathanger to reach into the rail and fish it out. Finally got it with a pick and coat hanger. Had to loosen ths EGR pipe to lift the rail high enough.Used my cell phone to confirm and check. It was awesome. I feel so good that I got this done. You guys helped a ton! I can't tell you how bad I hate that fucking EGR tube!
April 30, 201312 yr Got all my packages from the US safe and sound, no more stress with customs. Xcon included, that thing is a beast The XCON is a beast!

I had to grab a pipe wrench.Helped a lot that the sun was out this time. Roommate gave me a hand too. He can fit between the engine and the radiator so he can get leverage easily and get sockets on bolts for me.

Well let me tell you something about the Evil. I was at the haunt today and did a demo and the people across the creek were pissed. They said I was shaking their house and shit was falling off the walls. Not sure how far way, but I will have to post a picture of the distance. Every time I play it hard I get all shaky and some what of a sore throat. Needless to say I have been wearing earplugs too.

May 1, 201312 yr Just got out of the shower.

My 4 day weekend project. Still needs a bunch of finish work, but I'm happy I got this far.
