June 8, 201312 yr going from 3.6 to 1.8 is pretty insane I know my 50mm does extremely well at low light. You could look for a 1.4 but theyre much more expensive.I am not concerned with the 1/8 not being enough for 99.999999% of everything I want to do and more.It is a REALLY cheep feeling lens. Like uber cheep. And Fucking loud. That makes a difference for video.I liken it to the cheep off brand set of pliars compared to a solid made snap on or similar tool. I have all the faith in the world it will do the job when it works, I just have low faith in it working for long. I would look into Tamron, they make some very solid lenses. I messed around with the 18-250 and it was extremely light, silent, and very very sharp. The 10-24 would be an excellent choice from tamron.

June 9, 201312 yr I'm looking all over. Just trying to keep it cheap as later on I'll buy a hard or retractible cover.J
June 9, 201312 yr Then you don't want snugtop. Due to their quality and tight gap clearances they will be on the higher side.
June 9, 201312 yr Found one locally that has the velcro closure. Honestly after having one come up on me in the past (wasn't on my truck so I m unaure of age, etc) it makes me apprehensive. Any ideas?J
June 9, 201312 yr Would prefer a hard top long term. Looking at something secure and durable at a low price for now. J
June 9, 201312 yr They've got those abs vacuum formed ones that are pretty cheap.Any chance you have a link or site to look at?J

June 9, 201312 yr Not bad and a decent price. If I can get the bird sold sooner than I initially anticipated I may go that route.J
June 9, 201312 yr I've had the cheap vinyl snap on covers on two of my trucks and never had any issues. I don't think I paid more than $200 for them either.

I went on a vacation a few years ago and forgot to set the ac, all of the candles in the house melted into flat sheets of wax. Some other crazy stuff happened that I can't remember at the moment.
