I am getting insurance for the bike and new tabs today, and then I start to tear everything out of the truck.

Will be figuring out if I am going to just go with all new internals on my 5.4 2v or if I want to get a stringer block. Forged aftermarket or L or something like that.

The stock block will easily handle 1000+HP. The rotating assembly is the issue and really will only need to upgrade if you want to boost or rev the shit out of it.

I'm only sitting still and not playing a game because I am so amped to have a chair, and enjoying SSA company and shopping for dream engines.

I'm starting to think I need either a forged block with GT headers 4 turbo's or to scrap it all and get a modified deisel. 2k ft/lbs sounds reasonable right?

They make truck spec headers. Build the shortblock, put a blower on it and be done with it.

Maggies are picky. And not a one size fits all speaker.

My logans are persnickety, sometimes if the netflix audio edit, or the mixer from a blu ray etc was not on point, they will fuck up your world. And compared to Magnepan, they are really forgiving.

That is the plan. I was using some sarcasm with my comment.

I am working backwards though because of my lack of experience. I don't know exactly what internals I should be looking at etc, so I end up looking as someone with a race engine and then looking at the components.

I don't care about revving high, and I don't think I want to deal with something that is at 1,000HP. I cannot even imagine what the front end would need to handle that if I ever put it in 4wd.

You couldn't even get me to buy a super duty with a diesel.  I'm happy with the one I got for work with the 5.4L gas.  

 

UNLESS one is towing a trailer as a daily occurrence, you won't find me every buying one.
