Holiday today, everybody was free, I decided to work today and have tomorrow free. Ah, the perks of a small software company. I can move around holidays almost whenever the heck I want. 

Also reduced some errors in the project 10 fold today, pretty productive day so far. 

A few days of not needing the car are in sight and I can finally install the Mmmats. I have to take out both front seats and center console, run power wire from under the backseat to under the driver's seat, RCA's, speaker wire and remote wire from one side to the other (under the carpet, oh joy) and fix a broken nut for the seat base. 

And I'm going to install a pair of Faital 3fe20's in the A-pillars of a Civic (half of project stupid) tomorrow. 

Today being a religious holiday I'm going to sit around on my ass and relax. 

Until few weeks ago I was planning on getting a bike frame, found a Dekerf for ~$700 (they sell new for $2k), all Reynolds 853 but decided it's money best kept for the Miata purchase.

MK, an S2000 is 3-4 times the price of a first gen Miata. Over 9000 rpm...over 9000 euros...

Most everyone here starts off in a Miata for track use.

I'm looking to get rid of my rusted out side box smoker and getting an Egg. Any suggestions on which size to get and accessories? We generally do cookouts of 15-20 people. Nothing too crazy. Mostly steaks and ribs.

Also I only see one dealer close to my house. I don't want to get raped on price, what prices have you seen them for?

Eggs are map priced I think. My large was 700 or so, I think. I would recommend the XL if you regularly cook for that many and want to do things like ribs.

Or get 2larges. That would be a more flexible option.

Too many people for a large, unless a single pork butt or brisket is enough and all you'll ever do.

Can't afford 2 larges. Probably an XL then. Under a grand for the XL you think?

Have never seen an egg in use. Besides the obvious even heat retaining properties of ceramic, what's the big deal?
