Bought GTA V yesterday. Graphics are better and the world is big, but driving is fucking horrible. Why did they decide to change some of the controlls? And WTF is with the aliens? I don't know... at this point I am pretty disappointed.

The alien thing has been just funny to me. I haven't played more than a couple hours. Work is killing me.

it opens up a bit when the heists start. if you're not enjoying some of the side mission stick with the main story line. you can also avoid some driving by calling a taxi.

I also washed the Miata and there are some palm prints on the trunk which did not come off. Hopefully I'll have time to run a clay bar.

Under Federal rules administered by TTB, it depends on how you use

the still. You may not produce alcohol with these stills unless you

qualify as a distilled spirits plant (see earlier question). However,

owning a small still and using it for other purposes is allowed. You

should also check with your State and local authorities - their rules

may differ.

A still is defined as apparatus capable of being used to separate

ethyl alcohol from a mixture that contains alcohol. Small stills (with

a cubic distilling capacity of a gallon or less) that are used for

laboratory purposes or for distilling water or other non-alcoholic

materials are exempt from our rules. If you buy a small still and use

it to distill water or extract essential oils by steam or water

extraction methods, you are not subject to TTB requirements. If you

produce essential oils by a solvent method and you get alcohol as a

by-product of your process, we consider that distilling. Even though

you are using and recovering purchased alcohol, you are separating the

alcohol from a mixture -distilling.

You cannot distill anything that makes alcohol, be it for spirits or for fuel, without permits and licenses and such.

Make alcohol from sugar, legal.

Separate alcohol from water, illegal.

FYI. Petroleum manufactures add a small percentage of methanol to ethanol to get around ethanol taxes. This is why you cannot drink it.

Fermenting fruits high in pectin produces methanol, but during distillation it's separated, and final product has to be under a certain %.

Yes pectin aka fiber aka celulose aka wood is where methanol comes from.

What other fruits make for tasty spirits? I'm thinking of making apple cider and applejack first. Can plums work, or too tart?

I've made it from just about everything. It'll loose its tartness. Your best bet is to boil whatever you use to increase flavor.

Banana is about the best tasting. People like it more by a long shot.
