I would buy one without boost and then pay to have it done. And the on GM truck I would spend my time boosting is a 'lade

Its the 6.0L so I assume they put the 4L80 into it?  If they did I'm not sure how you would kill it in a year.  I suppose it could have the 60 or 65, then it deserves to have something done to it if you are boosting and beating on it.  

 

It doesn't surprise me though if you throw 35% more power at a stock transmission and beat on it it will die though.

M5-  Since you are looking a Chevy trucks....I have been looking at the Avalanche myself.  I have owned a 04 Yukon XL, 04 silverado ex cab, and currently have a 01 Burb Z71.  my burb has over 300K miles.  I put a junkyard 5.3 in it at 297K.  I love chevy trucks.   ut I really like the 07-up Avalanches.  I will have one by this spring.

 

Probably where all this audio gear will wind up.

Just drove a Tundra, 4Runner & an Escalade. Thought maybe a $15k get my by could stretch/delay the inevitable. Not so amusingly the craptastic GM drove BY FAR the best of the lot. The Tundra is a fucking boat. Thought it would at least feel Japanese, but nope.

The TRD 5.7 Supercharger though is appealing...otherwise I wouldn't have gone. Since I was there I thought wth I'll tool a 4runner as they can be had cheap. Poop.
