Vapes look like light sabers. If I ever vape, I'm going to carry it like one too.

My Nemess pucking rocks. There is a Nemesis Copper clone that is out there... I want it for work.

I use FuncGen but have never tried to do anything while playing music.

I think I downloaded the same one.

I'd really like to try and get better at using EQ and understanding why and where I would like to change it. This will be particularly useful when I do my friends active setup and will likely have limited tuning time.

Play music from a different source and use an earbud off your phone.
???
Yes!

Thanks guys.

Here's a look. Quite a bit smaller than the house I just sold, but it's a great area and one of the best school districts.http://www.cbdfw.com/property/2206-Canyon-Trail-Carrollton-75007/NTREIS/12018383/

I am stoked for you Steve! I have spent quite a bit of time in Southlake area. Thats a great neighborhood!
thanks dude. Hopefully it all works out with the inspection. Has new roof, new pebble tec pool, and a few other things.I have big plans for the house after closing.
Can't go wrong as its only 20 years old. You REALLY cant go wrong with masonry exterior. Does the pool have a hot tub section built in? I assume you are moving your construction biz up to the DFW area?
the pool does not have the spa portion. We plan to add an above ground one near the house. Looming at the Arial view, none of these houses had the hot tub. Just a pool. The biggest draw for us to this house was that it had a pool and a decent yard.

My company did ask me to move up there. Sadly I don't own the company though.

Back in '09 I started my own subcontractor company. When it got slow I took a job with my competition and closed up shop. Fast forward a few years. that company got bought out by a firm in Minneapolis. They are the ones who asked me to run all the projects in north Texas. My wife works from home, so she can live in any major city that her company (Nike) has an office in.

Any chance she has some pull with R&D? Got a shoe idea that is not on the market at all, but cannot afford a patent. LOL

Patents can be cheap.

Thanks guys.

Patents are cheap. You would more than likely be considered a micro firm therefore fees would be under $100 bucks for filing. Then you have maintenance fee which aren't bad. If you need a patent attorney. Here is a good one.

Richard c calrderwood.

Thanks man! Just gotta figure out how to build a prototype. I have sketches, but nothing more solid.

J

I have access to a TON of build houses...

I'm really tempted to just brace them and run them sealed, and then if I want to dick around with a vent, cut a hole and use a tube to run tests. I really think my vent is a fucked plan.....

time for a non-fucked vented plan

Got ones that can build a prototype off a drawing?

J

Then what? Start a shoe company?

Try marketing the patent for sale. Its a unique idea that has not appeared on the market EVER according to my research.

J

Only problem is if you make a patent it'll come out of China before you make it. Only choice is your own company. One of my college buddies high school friends started Crocs. Grew up in a trailer...

Not directly, but I have a guy. Can find a place to make ANYTHING cheap. Considering he works for me it doesn't suck. That being said see my previous post.

When you're right, you're right. Guess I gotta figure some shit out. Doing some more research there is a design out that has a similar idea but is not even close to what my idea would do.

Could be cost effective as hell for the parents as well.

I'm 5 sheets of MDF deep already. You wanna take me to HD then back to your sexy unisaw and cut some wood and haul a few hundred pounds of wood?

:-)

Seriously, why not just seal it up and then try a sonotube vent if I get bored?

Ugly.... But I don't want to waste the MDF. I want the project done, and I'm fairly certain it will be so insane anyway I won't miss the vent.... Until I do that is.

Copper is the most beautiful metal in the world to me.

Awesome man.

R2. Awesome lightsaber video.

Wicked laser is a cool company that makes so much stuff I don't need. It want.

:-D

<- Didn't know Matlab was available natively for Linux. woot.gif

That is fucking sweet

Now I just need to learn it! I'm hoping I can get it to run decently on a surface pro, if so I'll have the ultimate setup for taking notes and doing classwork.
