January 30, 201411 yr R2. Awesome lightsaber video.Wicked laser is a cool company that makes so much stuff I don't need. It want.:-DI don't know how true it is but on the comments of the site there was a user claiming that because of the power they were using and the lasers themselves being unmodulated? that they could cause blindness extremely easily. The guy claimed his friend was playing with one and it reflected off something into his eye for a second, made him blind for a few weeks, and now he has permanent damage where his vision is shit. I don't mean to sound like a mom or hint that people shouldn't have to be responsible with such, nor do I even know if the post was true, but reading it definitely made me think twice about considering one. I mean I'm a pretty fucking responsible person and I think I'd have a lower probability of an accident with a firearm than accidentally shining a laser on a reflective surface for a split second. Wow that came out long, and now I seem like those old next door neighbors that complain about everything.
January 30, 201411 yr I have read comments about how the lasers can even melt/cut through the safety glasses.Firearms are way safer IMHO. I'm fairly certain you could blind a pilot with one and crash a plane. They are crazy.
January 30, 201411 yr Any Google phone wizards here?I am on T-Mobile and have an HTC one.My needs make me want a much large screen, so one of them Phablets.... Do ya'll know if I buy a phone from the manufacturer, specifically the HTC one max, will I get 4G and not loose other services? Sell me your HTC

January 30, 201411 yr In the words of Mark Twain.Too much of a good thing is bad, but too much wubwubwub is only just enough.

January 30, 201411 yr The enclosure is basically a long rectangle. Maybe 3to 1.Should I mount the sub on the long side or on an end?I was nervous about standing it up, but setting them up like tower speakers might be cool, and they just weigh so much...
January 30, 201411 yr Also, what do the kids use for fastening it down now? What is hot on the streets? Hurricane nuts and weatherstripping still the way to go and add a sheet around the edge of the sub to flush mount? Like a bawss?
January 30, 201411 yr Yolo powder FTW.Rofl.I'm really tempted to try the Twerk set at the gym to fuck with people's heads. There's an old guy at the gym (he's been lifting since '89 apparently) and he does weird workouts sometimes just to see who copies him

I'm still using drywall screws and if the sub has a gasket, no weatherstripping.

January 30, 201411 yr Those slopes look ok to me.... I will give up a few DBa at 10hz it looks like. Don't let models fool you. That XBL motor will be far more linear than the modeling will show you.
January 30, 201411 yr Wireless routers, what is a good one? Maybe this one?http://www.netgear.com/home/products/networking/wifi-routers/WNDR3400.aspxAsus dark night. Or whatever the current version is. Mine is the original and has higher penetration through problem walls etc but slightly slower speed. That is the absolute best.Bar none hands down. I'll second that. I have one as well and it totally kicks ass.
January 30, 201411 yr T-nut's FTW. http://www.zorotools.com/g/00057017/k-G3381883?utm_source=google_shopping&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Google_Shopping_Feed&kw={keyword}&gclid=CKbJhq38pbwCFY8-MgodYyYAiA

That explains the odd modeling as I didn't know it was a XBL design. I am assuming it is a newer Maelstrom. The original Adire Maelstroms were conventional motors, basically big ass Shivas, but anything with the Maelstrom moniker over the past 5-7 years are XBL based.
