Im wondering the best way to wire these speakers to my RF P300-2

I was thinking the 4x6's on 1 channel the tweeters on another but idk about the ohms

But I want to make sure because Rockford is not cheap!

If you wire the 4x6's to one channel and the tweets to another you wont have any channel seperation between the speakers. Wire one 4x6 and one tweeter in parallel to each channel.

Have you bought any of this equipment yet? If not i would recommend you step back and re-evaluate. After looking at the specs on those 4x6's you'll be over powering them by a good bit. If you already have the equipment or you still want to buy it be careful with the gain and EQ.

I would advise you to use crossovers between the 4x6 and the tweeter as well.

These posts are all good things to consider. Why not just get a 4 channel as you may want to wire more speakers in after these.

Unfortunately theres no changing the speakers or amp

I was gonna take it easy on the gain (i like too much bass anyways)

I thought that a 4x6 parallel to a tweet would be bad cause of mismatching speakers

When you say add a crossover between them, do you have one that you would recommend?

I thought the box things with the tweeters was crossovers (high pass filter)

The amp and speaker choice is it and cannot be undone

However a future speaker upgrade to the amps potential would be nice

I dont understand why this amp+speaker selection is so wrong

Im going to do my best to set the gain so as to not clip them

EDIT: 4x6 was chosen because that is the factory size in the door of the car

Why did you get a 2 channel amps for 4 speakers ?

I see a lot of people do it like that, and I can't understand that. They want 2 channel amp because they think it will give them more power to use !!!

We're saying don't because it will sound like warm @ss. The 4X6 already has a tweeter, why do you want 2 more? Do you have a sub stage? We're not trying to be jerks, but it you already bought this equipment, it's not going to sound very good. Your midbass will be way quieter than all the highs from the tweeters, you'll have multiple speakers playing the same frequency so imaging will sound terrible. If you want real help do what M5 said and post us that info.

If you wire one 4x6" and one tweeter per channel it'll work perfectly, and sound just fine. I've done that EXACT setup in a few customers cars and they are always tickled pink.

Just make sure to get the L/R position correct.

I got 1" tweeters cause theres a spot in my door for them to replace the factory

I have no intentions of running the 4x6 as a midrange

Im running two hifonics brz1200 on two lanzar opti1232D

so trying to use the 4x6 as a midrange would be silly, I know this

What else will the 4x6" be beyond a midrange/highend speaker?

The crossovers that came with it are just that, crossovers, stopping bass from getting to your tweeters.

No, just as long as they are both connected you will be fine.

And hell no!! Run stereo, the ohm load will work out to 2ohm stereo which the amp is perfectly capable of doing.
