I have looked through pages and pages of forums and cant seem to find anything explaining what the purpose of the space spider on the sp4 is. could someone please help?! i ordered a sp4 yesterday with the space spider and would like to know its significance.

As Duran said "The spaced spider aids in mechanical linearity of the voice coil"
