I love those low tones in movies that make my girlfriend look up at the ceiling like its gonna fall

What's your guys favorite movies that really show off that home subwoofer?

I'm not into shooting bass or explosions very often

I like it when my window blinds shake,  I call it a blind trick

Some of my favorites are:

Jurassic Park

Dark Knight Rises/Begins

Dante's Peak

Twister

Lord of the Rings (especially 2Towers)

If Im wanting some shooting I like The Matrix

That lobby scene is awesome

The pod race in Star Wars Episode 1 is awesome.

I can only imagine the last hr of inception would be good.x

You could try Tron too.

My favorite is the beginning of Top Gun (the rest is good too), If you have a loud home setup between the music intro and the fighter jets taking off its awesome.

One of my favorite movies of all time

Just about any of the battle scenes in Battleship will do it, especially the last one with the old battleship.

Also the movie "The Haunting" with Liam Neeson.  Badass bass in that movie with the house moving and things.

Pod racing scens from star wars.

Finding nemo when the bitch with braces taps on the aquarium.

Master and commander. Battle scenes.

Black hawk down helo scenes.

That T rex scene is a bitch though. If I remember right it has some sing digit Hz action in it. Almost no subs will be tuned to play it. It's probably just an accident in the recording, but it's low low.

This would be good to know for later use.

That's why IB rules in-house.

Fo sho.

Now that I have confirmed in my house, Skyfall. The subway crash scene. Ultra bass in your face. Dynamite/propane explosion was nice too.

The train scene is awesome though.

40hz sine wave + bass shakers in my crotch is my favorite way to kill a Tuesday afternoon.
