March 25, 201312 yr I'm not reading all the replies. http://www.coilsprings.com/ I was going to them before I flipped my car. Worst case, would have been 280 shipped for the rear. That's completely custom wound with variable density. Most likely would have been 200. They put a lot into their springs. A local guy used them with great results.

I've yet to contact them for a quote... Not looking for anything crazy in weight handling.... so I'll see what route I go...

Basically, 200-1000lbs, they got you covered. I would prefer a factory style spring(linear or progressive) over add on stuff. I was quite impressed in how in depth they went. Good luck man.
March 25, 201312 yr Author Thanks... I found some stuff on rockauto but it's unclear what each model is.... It "seems" that they have a super duty coil that could potentially handle up to 1000lbs.... not sure though... I sent in a comment to them on it...
March 27, 201312 yr not sure how the suspension is on the toyota, has anyone looked up a spacer for the spring by chance? maybe like a leveling kit like the lifted trucks have? if you went air suspension you wouldnt regret it. My s10 is bagged and i love it. only thing i would do different is instead of the 1/2 SMC valves id switch it all out for a accuair setup

March 27, 201312 yr My vote is to replace w/ stock parts and you will notice a change. The way you are describing it to me sounds like it is just worn out. How many miles are on the car?

May 3, 201312 yr Author sooo.... updates.... finally working.... Thinking about doing the rear struts/coils first.... Any difference between H&R and Eibach??? They are within $40 of each other so no reason to quibble about that, but are the H&R better in some aspect? The Eibachs would give me a drop of F 1.4 / R 1.1 ... The H&R would be F 1.4 / R 1.3 ...... OR should I just go with stock at a total of $145 ???? These are the Eibach: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CN9VLO/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER These are the H&R: http://www.amazon.com/H-R-54683-1-Sport-Spring/dp/B00C7M2JJE Stock: Edited May 3, 201312 yr by Shogen
May 3, 201312 yr When you say drop I'm assuming you mean lower. So I guess it depends on how low that will make your car and taking account you're into car audio and could potentially put a decent amount of weight into the trunk. I mean after a 1" drop how much ground clearance do you have? Would you feel comfortable driving over a pothole? Since its your daily driver I'd say go stock but that's just my opinion
