April 19, 201312 yr Author Badass man!!! Lets see it in the car with subs in it now I have another three weeks before my recones get here. I still have some mid's and highs to install. Debating on eliminating my rear fill mid drivers and just doing a bad ass front stage. I need to sound deaden the entire rear deck anyway.
April 19, 201312 yr Author Lookin good so far, tuned in for some results. I myself am gettin ready to try my hand with some 12's again with more power. What kind of 12's and power?

April 22, 201312 yr Author Well I have hit yet another snag in this project. I have to replace my rear struts before anything else can be done. Shouldn't be too big of an issue besides the funding. I hope to keep things on schedule and will update this log with everything being done. To all of those reading and watching my build, if you are new to audio, it takes a lot more than just throwing a box, some wire, an amp, and subs in your car to have a slamming system that will last for years. It gets expensive, and these kinds of issues are to be expected.

May 26, 201312 yr Author I love refining subs! Nice work. Thanks nem. My friend is way better at reconing than I am. I'd have glue all over the place.
May 27, 201312 yr Author Well, I didn't get as much done as I had hoped.I did get the rear deck ready for sound deadner and fit the speakers in after some trim panels were made.
May 29, 201312 yr Author A bit more progress with some new wire runs and test fitting. Don't know about the amps yet.
May 29, 201312 yr Author Rear deck does look great! Any more pics pre carpet?I don't have any others pre carpet, but it had 6x9 holes and looked like shit.

May 29, 201312 yr The saran on the box is also a great idea, I was going to use painters plastic but like your idea better!

Just wondering because it looks super clean. Not much prep needed. I just made the driver panels, made sure it all fit, then i put the carpet on with the speakers in their new nest. The saran on the box is also a great idea, I was going to use painters plastic but like your idea better! It was a quick easy way to avoid getting foam on the carpeting. I am going to cut the excess off after I get the trunk sealed off. The front of the box will be beautified as well as the battery bank in back. I plan on mounting the S1200's in the corner with a tray in between them and go from there.
