Posted March 18, 200421 yr Admin Tracy could you give us a little clinic on the advantages of the new L7's compared to the older L7'sand if your feeling sausey, could you explain to us the advances of the SX line over the KX amp line
March 19, 200421 yr Man, I read a review on the SX line in a mag and they have a ton of features, one of which I really am fond of, AUTOMATIC GAIN MATCHING!!!! As for the new L7s, well, to me, they look like crap. Too flashy, but I know they will perform, so we can get past that.
March 19, 200421 yr The new L7's have sleeved TL for protection, 100% coverage on the rear back brace for increased strengths in all areas on the cone, enhanced motor structure and design, and a T cut pole piece, which lets it have increased power, and thermal protection and always keeps the VC in the gap.The SX over the KX, 'tuning'....you can almost anything with the DSP on the SX, and which soon will have a remote tuning ability from the dash...sort of like and EQ but for the amp...and a memory that tells working amp history, problems and possible fixes. Also lets you 'lock out' those friends that like to mess with your amp settings. Hope this helps.Tracy
March 19, 200421 yr Author Admin if the EQ and Amp were one in the same with dash mounted control, that would kick butt
March 20, 200421 yr The SX over the KX, 'tuning'....you can almost anything with the DSP on the SX, and which soon will have a remote tuning ability from the dash...sort of like and EQ but for the amp...and a memory that tells working amp history, problems and possible fixes. Also lets you 'lock out' those friends that like to mess with your amp settings. Best features ever. Definitely going to have to look hard at these.- Steve

March 26, 200421 yr polecat, I heard there was a few glitches in the SX 1250.1, is that fixed? or was that a BS rumor, I hope it was a rumor as far as I am awre, we have had nothing with the SX1250's...but we can look into the customers 'sick bank' as see what he has done to/with the amp, if there is a problem.....
