Im going to be running my amp at half ohm what should I take into consideration. Amp is bc3500

dont wrench on itmake sure your voltage is top notch so it doesnt burn up. hopefully more people have some input

Set your gain according to voltage drop and keep amp cool. I've ran my mmats hd 4000.05 with a dc 270xp 1 xs d3400 1 xp2500 and 1 xp3000 2 runs 1/0 and my voltage still drop. I would never an amp @ .5 again

Do you already have subs?

yea I wasent planning on doing this way but I made a mistake and ordered dual 2s

Just don't do it, as when it burns up, I care not to read your post about it. gayhaaay1.gif

What subs do you have?

I would never do it for daily. If you are going to run it that low, then make sure you have heavily invested in your electrical system. If you're running 12v system, I wouldn't want to drop below 12.6.

Ok sounds like I might have to run two seperate amps one per sub sucks that I just bought that one tho thanks for info

Wire it to two ohms, unless you are chasing numbers the gain will be minimal wiring to .5.

Two XCON's will get silly loud on 2800 watts, trust me.

2800 Watts? I got a BC 3500 at 2ohms it says 1900

If your going to use it as a daily driver I would wire it to 2 ohms. They will get plenty loud.

try and find a kicker or rockford that is 2 ohm stable if they fit your budget, if you already have the Crescendo already then run it at 2 ohms.

Sorry I thought I had read 5500. Either way I still say 2 ohms.

But if you have two subs at half ohm load each with a final load 1ohm would that be okay or no

He has two d2's.

Nobody has any idea of what his load will be until you model his enclosure.  I may be nominally over 1 ohm with those drivers, all wired in parallel...

So basically, nobody can tell you anything objective until you figure this ^^ out...

And no, this isn't impedance rise, just want to nip that one in the bud :)
