Hey guys I need a little help....

I used to be able to flick a switch on some amps I have had from playing just lows (bass) then flick the switch and there would be highs comming out of the sub.

SInce I have used D class mono amplifiers, I have not seen this feature anymore.

I was told to look for a class A/B amplifier, but I purchased the usa-1000 and it did not have the feature, yet it was a class A/B.

Wat is it I should be looking for? I need 1000 watts rms @ 2 ohms minimum.

yea that feature is the "through" option on the xover...although why do yo u want hights comin out of the sub?

I just need it, its not for the sub, I switch out the sub sometimes.

SOmeone told me to look for a A/B amplifier, but when I bought the usa-1000 it never had that option.

WHich usamps would have that option? any?

you talkin old school or new school? cuz my guess is some of those a/b amps are made for bass so they dont have that feature

If you really need onboard amp controls (I prefer to have it on the head unit, makes fiddling with everything leagues easier), you could always get external inline crossovers such as Harrison Labs FMODs...pretty sorry Xover slopes by themselves, but you could always put more of them in line to get a steeper slope.
