Posted June 14, 201312 yr Not sure if anyone is really interested, but I got this today. It was a service drop off, we repaired the RCA inputs and the customer never came back. So it's going home with me. I've got some connections who can do a little something for me so we're going to cut a plexiglass sheet for the front and cut outs for the display and the fans, probably going to upgrade the fans and get the whole thing powdercoated.
June 15, 201312 yr Author It's an old A2300HCT. It is literally the ugliest amplifier I have ever seen. LOL, but our shop has a good relationship with quite a few different auto shops around us, so I'm going to have it powder coated. The top cover is God Awful so I'm just going to cut out for a 200mm fan and the dials into a piece of plexi and mount it to cover her up. June 15, 201312 yr I think it looks good haha, it has a old school look to it. Know a couple people who still run old audiobahn amps, they don't look quite that good either
June 15, 201312 yr Author Lol the board looks great and the shape is nice, but the flame cover... ugh that thing is rough LOL.
